The putt putt course was very nice and he enjoy the batting cages. They have a food truck and a bar which was not opened when we first got there around 11 am and neither were any other attractions. So we left and ate lunch than came back and did all the other fun stuff. He thoroughly enjoyed all of it, the trampoline, the go karts the bumper cars. It was a fair price for the things you got to do. It's good for younger kids and it's good for older kids and adults.

It was a fun game with four of us playing. The holes were fun and some stubble us and had us missing it to till 8. There weren't enough black large mini golf cuffs, I had to use a xl one and it was big for me but the medium was to small in length for me. The staff was friendly at the front. When we did the go karts. There was no sign how to enter and there was no one at the front to explain. Also I would expect for the staff to make sure that the belts were secure before they sent us out but that didn't happen. It's time for the cost of 10 dollars so if you have done it before it's definitely worth it becuase you able to go fast and lap around multiple times. This being my first time I got overlapped and wasn't as fast. I am unsure if I would do go kart again , but would definitely come back for the mini golf to try the other course.

Was seeking a local gym for classes while visiting the area and came across this place not too far…read morefrom the hotel that we're staying at. So happy I did! Drop in rate is 10.00 per class. A variety of classes are offered 7 days a week but unfortunately this past Sunday's were cancelled due to some special event they had (website's schedule is up to date). To book a class is super easy; choose which class you want and it tells you how many open spots are left. You pay via credit card and receive an email confirmation. Upon arrival you just go to either of the studios where the classes are held. I booked a spin class and the instructor came up to introduce herself and asked my name and said she saw it on her roster. As for the class, it was very good and the instructor (Jill) was super nice and chatted with her a bit after. Facility is very clean and the bikes were in excellent condition. The only con is it is very hard to find as there is no signage indicating where the center is located (you see the theater upon arrival). I stopped and asked what appeared to be some city road/construction workers and one was able to give me directions. Saw the building with a huge parking lot and assumed that was it as I saw some people going in who were in workout gear and carrying gym bags. Once you initially find it you are good to go and know what/where to go.

I just received an email from Dearborn Parks and Rec regarding my gym membership. I've been a…read morefaithful member of this gym for several years. It's understandable that they need to raise the rates but it's more than a quarter higher than what it initially used to be. In addition to that they're charging a $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee. All these cost combine make it un affordable for the majority of people in the city. I can see increasing the rates but to add a $40 enrollment fee for something that takes the lady behind the desk 30 seconds to issue. Your enrollment fee is ridiculous. I will be seeking my membership elsewhere and it's such a shame because the facility itself is beautiful, although I'm also frustrated with staff that they don't enforce handwashing or wiping down the machines after use so increasing risk of staph, Mrsa, and other illnesses and disease

We also had drinks, I had a margarita which was pretty good. I enjoyed this type Of bowling because I have long nails, the small balls were perfect. The entire place is dimly lit and dark with neon decorations and cool paintings. The staff were super helpful as well. I will definitely come Duck bowling again.

I came to Detroit Duckpin with several friends for my birthday. It was nice to have a lot of space…read morebecause it wasn't busy in the middle of the week. It is located in the basement of the Cambria Hotel. The guy up front was accommodating to wait until more of my group showed up to start the time on a two hour bowling reservation. The lane had a few minor mechanical issues that were resolved when we asked for assistance. Just talk to a worker if there is a problem with not getting your full amount of reservation time. I can't say what problems may be presented at a busier time though. The food tastes good. I liked the garlic parmesan wings and burrata truffle pizza. It's a little pricey. The pizza and wings were enough for 2 people, 3 max. One of the workers told me that typically it isn't allowed to bring food in because I had a birthday cake. I can understand banning alcohol or a pizza from another restaurant, but there should be an exception for a celebratory cake. There was a lot of metered parking around Cambria Hotel and I found a spot right across the front entrance. Overall, it's a great hangout spot in downtown Detroit for food, drinks, and games. Duckpin shares space with Five Iron Golf so along with bowling you can also reserve time for golf simulators.
