Over a month went by, still no estimate. I called and texted, Kim said she'd look into it and get back to me. It's now been 2 months with no follow up. I've tried calling and texting multiple times, and now they don't even respond. Very unprofessional to waste my time and energy like this!

The carpet is 25 years old, white, and for the most part, looks like new. The gentleman moved my couch and some of the incidentals. As a one man operation, he moved the couches, but there were other items that could not be moved due to hardwood space, and shear weight, such as filing cabinets and large desks. Exceeded my expectations.

We hired Harris Restoration following a dishwasher leak, based on their strong reviews, but our…read moreexperience was very disappointing. Work was performed multiple times without prior approval or any written scope changes. Communication was extremely poor--many of our calls and emails went unanswered, and we often had to follow up repeatedly to get basic information. We also found ourselves continuously having to check if they were doing things properly. For example, they neglected to take moisture readings before removing the drying equipment to ensure that our house was indeed dry. Although they apologized, the same issues continued throughout the project. Dealing with a home mitigation situation is already stressful, and the lack of communication and clarity only made it worse. It is incredibly unsettling not knowing what is happening in your own home. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Harris Restoration, especially for insurance-related work, where clear documentation, transparency, and consistent communication are essential.

This appears to be a small operation, a husband and wife team. He makes the business arraignments and they both perform the work. The owner/operator is a lovely man who is soft spoken. But he is a master of the weed-eater. They make short work for my 1/4 acre. And it's good work too. I started small, had them do just a portion of my yard. I didn't know if I could afford to have the whole thing done, but their rates are very fair. Recently, I had them rehab my entire yard. This was mowing, including a steep hill, weeding the flower beds and cleaning up all the debris from the trees getting ready to hibernate from the heat and lack of water. It took them a bit, 2 1/2 hours, but man that was a lot of work, done well. It would have taken me a week. If you are in the Salem Oregon area and are looking for a regular care team, or just need to catch up, call these folks up. They will definitely be worth the call.
