From the start Jessica from Vinwood was the most responsive of any caterer we contacted. She was very professional and easy to work with. As the wedding date approached we also worked with Gary who was great to work with and was a wonderful day of the wedding manager. He took the worry out of anything before it became a concern. They were both awesome to work with. The entire staff at the wedding were great. The chefs, waiters and waitresses as well as the bus boys and clean up crew to the bartenders were all professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The food, what can I say about the food...The kids wanted a bbq and Vinwood offers various buffet themed events. We went with the Western BBQ which included salad, bread, steak tips, ribs, sausage, chicken, corn and potato salad. All were excellent and our guests were raving about the food. There was something for everyone which was great. Prices for the buffet were very reasonable and lower than some that we looked into. All in all we expected great food with professional service and Vinwood delivered. We are very glad we went with them, they made the wedding very special.

Finally, they helped the couple spend their money wisely, making suggestions on where to spend and where to save. Thank you!!!

Working with Lori, the Sales Manager was great! Attentive to detail, and helpful. Staff arrived 2 hours prior and set up our 10 tables & buffet tables under the tent with care and style! Looked so good! The appetizers were hearty and delicious, served to our guests. Our dinner buffet was delicious. Signature salad, Braised Short Ribs(so tender!), Chicken Marsella, Pasta Cavatappi - Vegan, Roasted Fresh Vegetables, & Roasted Reds with Herbs and Garlic. YUM! Accommodations for special diets (vegan, Celiac) were taken care of. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional, and helpful to me. Our guests LOVED THE APPS and DINNER! and we have received so many comments on how good the food was! That it was over the top! Got some comments, on how good the coffee was! My…read morehusband and I both have dietary restrictions and had a number of guests with multiple food allergies, so it meant we had to get creative and modify some of the menu items to ensure there was something for everyone. We also were tight on budget and needed to be pretty careful with our costs while maximizing the taste and quality of the food. Darcy was incredibly helpful and accommodating - she suggested the most affordable options and kept track of every little detail for us in both of our tastings and in email exchanges in between. The food at the wedding was amazing and we got SO many compliments. My favorites were the flatbread, citrus shrimp, chicken, & beef skewer passed appetizers and the steak tips with bacon (oh my god, the jam is incredible), chicken breast w/ tomato artichoke salsa, and gnocchi with grilled veggies. Darcy, Ashley, & the rest of the BE&C staff were all incredible during the entire event, making sure that we were happy and had everything we needed all night. And we got to keep all of the leftovers so we'll get to keep enjoying it for even longer!

I am the mother of the bride I just have to say they were not just a caterer it was like having a wedding planner. We had not planned a wedding or any large event before Colleen was fabulous. The day of the outside wedding it was very warm. The food was great there was plenty of food The salad was cool, even at 90* the deserts were also delicious The weight staff was so polite. They were very, very warm, but you wouldn't know it. Nobody waited for food. Tables were cleared. Glasses weren't left on the table. It was phenomenal. When the wedding was over, Colleen and the staff took anything that the bride and groom left behind, she kept it brought it to her home and called us and told us she had it above and beyond what they had to do!!!!!! If we have another event I would hire them again Thankyou Lori Dooley (8/3/24)

My only regret was not having leftovers! They made my wedding day smooth and perfect, covering the bar, serving tables, setup and cleanup. They came highly recommended by Peirce Farm and it was clear as to why. I would work with them a million times over.

I am not one to write a review, but I feel compelled to do so this time. We used Anna at Lasting…read moreImpressions for our son's rehearsal dinner. From the very beginning she was very hard to get a hold of. At one point she told me " I really could use 4 assistance - but it's just me". The only way to get her was via phone call - but she was always driving or at another event, so you really didn't have her full attention. And she never had anything written down. Anyway - the food was ok - but the serve was terrible. We notice right away that none of our water glasses were filled. When we asked about it, the servers eventually dropped water pitchers on the tables ( which filled about 3 glasses of a 8 person table ) Our sit down dinner for only 35 people took over an hour for all 5 tables to be served. Anna had assured me many times that we had plenty of time for her to serve a full meal before our welcome drinks. We were so far behind that we asked her to just take the dessert that we had paid for and set it on a table at the welcome drinks, because people were coming in by then. Then when we got up and moved to the welcome drinks with passed appetizers - again soo slow to come out. Our venue coordinator (not with Lasting Impressions) was running around trying to help speed them along. The charcuterie board ran out of crackers fast. It took forever to get them to refill. At one point -one of the servers stopped to offer me something and began talking to me about her daughters wedding - going on and on. So unprofessional. She is there to serve food - not mingle with me. Again I have never posted a negative review, but I wish I would have seen something like this before I booked Lasting Impressions. I would not recommend them.

Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They guided us through the daunting task of designing our menu and beverage program, as well as assisted in our furniture and linen rentals. We always felt like we were in good hands. The food was absolutely stunning! Capers has a wide variety of interesting menu options, far beyond your typical wedding dishes. We ended up going with BBQ, Asian, and fall seasonal stations, in addition to an assortment of fun appetizers, plus gourmet donuts for dessert. The food was unique, gorgeous, and most importantly, absolutely delicious! They were also able to make special accommodations for our guests with dietary restrictions, so everybody left with a full belly. Many guests told us that this was the best wedding food they've ever had. We definitely agree! For the bar, Capers was able to handle all of our special requests and provided a unique selection of craft beers, ciders, seltzers, as well as plenty of wine and liquor options. They did a great job of finding cool, local brands that gave the bar a much more upscale feel without breaking the bank. The signature cocktails that they designed for us were both beautiful and delicious. Our guests couldn't stop raving about them! P.S. Get the cake pops, you won't regret it!

It was great to have someone I could completely trust so I could worry about other things. Then, Catherine took over for the dinner itself and she was amazing too! They remembered that my husband and I don't really drink, so we got sparkling grape juice for the toast without even asking! At the end of the night, Catherine even gave up a bag of leftovers, which was amazingly sweet. The day could not have gone better and it was really thanks to Capers that everything went so well. They aren't just caterers; they seriously are magic-makers. And the food. The food was AMAZING! My husband loved the steak and I had the fish and it was amazing.
