My daughter is at her happiest when she is in the gym. Those girls are her sisters and she enjoys spending time with them. Her coaches are the best in the state, and truly care about their gymnasts. This IS her idea of a good time, and when I tell her it's time to go to gymnastics, she responds, "yay!" That never ceases to amaze me after 6 years of training (she began at another Vermont gym). I have never had to force anything on her, she has a competitive nature, and this is her passion. I only support it. When we go to meets we are the loudest and happiest bunch, cheering each other on, with the owners in the front row yelling out our children's names, and yes, we bring home titles. There is nothing wrong with being the best at something, and striving toward a common goal. If you have a little girl, or boy, that also loves gymnastics, I highly recommend Regal. Whether team or just recreational, their facility is top notch. They also have a Ninja Warrior training area that they recently expanded.

Customer service is certainly not their strong suit. I completely understand how they compete and win in area competitions. The desire and pressure I have witnessed for near perfection from young children (4-8 year olds) can only be explained as fierce. Maybe it's my belief and raising to believe winning isn't everything and it's all about learning and having fun for children that slants my view. However I have a hard time believing that these children are better off spending most of their day strictly training than just being kids and playing. Maybe it's time for parents to start recalling their own childhood and how fun it was to be a kid. Over the last few years we have attended open gym. The gyms has been regularly used at the same time by the daycare program and I have had the luxury of witnessing the strict structure implemented. Additionally I can't tell you how many times (a lot) that we have entered and only seen one staff in the entire hour of our visit. Many times this staff is a young girl whom I assume must be the owners daughter, otherwise she'd be attending school during the day. I understand daycare facilities fill up fast and parents are choosing more and more to work instead of staying home, but I would encourage you to do extra visits prior to selecting this location for your child.

The benches (on the ice) are a little odd....very short seats and there's a fairly significant gap between the floor and the door to head out to the ice. The Gym: I have attended classes and had regular personal training and I recommend both! The gym is big enough to have everything you need in a gym, with no waiting, but small enough to have a great community feel. Almost like Cheers, you walk in and are greeted with a welcome. I like the other people who go there and have gotten to know the regulars. The classes are fun and always a great workout Some classes are during the day and some after or before hours. Stacy is my personal trainer and it's been great. She really listened to my goals, she is hyper-focused on form and safety, and has provided coaching and recommendations on my eating habits to help me get where I want to be. It's the cleanest and most functionally 'usable' gym(not cluttered, easy to maneuver) I have been to (and I have been to a lot of gyms). The Salon: I have gotten a haircut, color, a blowout, and a spray tan. Stacy listens to what you want and provides recommendations. The results are great! And it's nice that she works early and late, which most stylists don't do. I can easily get in and out before work. This is a great woman-owned small business with a community feel and all of the amenities you could want. I highly recommend it.

We did not know what to expect, and it all worked out. I think there may be two ways to get here. …read more . one is off the main-ish road, and another is through a scenic road by a horse farm. Anyway, the horse farm way was beautiful, but not open in the winter. . . so we backtracked and went around. There don't appear to be bathrooms here, so keep that in mind! We went with the intent to rent fat bikes, but the woman working here recommended that we do snowshoeing instead because the bikes were going to be hard to maneuver given that the snow wasn't super-packed. So, we had a really nice time snowshoeing (our first time) through very groomed trails. There were signs along the way, and the woman working showed us the map, so we had a picture of that. It was really really pretty - very scenic. Lots of trees, gorgeous sunlight filtering through the trees, very few people that we came across, and lots of interesting animal tracks to look at. Very fun.
