The food is always really good, but holy crap, what happen to the portion size, I paid $40 for 2 pasta's, I literally weighed them at 12oz each, pretty sure I got ripped off........, You need to get your act today Green Mill. WOW... read more

We chose Green Mill for our after work get together Christmas party. The first waitress we had was fine although a smile would have been nice. Must have been shift change never informed we would have a new waitress. We had a group of 7 ladies the next waitress came on and was training a new employee. Our new waitress made a comment to my coworker "apparently you have had enough to drink" very rude. Never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant. Never came to check if we needed refills and never came back to ask if we needed anything. We were going to buy a gift certificate for our Doctors but decided against it! The food was wonderful but the staff all around was not acceptable. We were there at 3:00 p.m the place was empty. Very disappointing. read more

Ordered a pasta Togo. Front/counter guy had a great attitude recommended my dish it was good. Place looked busy might be one of the best in town. Prices seemed good(out of town) read more

Their food is good and the environment is good another good place for dates or to watch sports. But to lit needs to be more dim

We ordered a personal size pizza for pick up and it was burnt when we showed up to pick it up at the restaurant. It was also very thin and we did not order thin pizza. My husband had to drive back to the restaurant with the pizza and ask for a different one. This isn't the first time they have burnt our pizza. They are also not allowing people to order lunch specials to go. That is ridiculous! Something better change with this place and how they treat their customers! read more

We arrived at 2:15. Greeted right away. Server came over and got our drink order. Had to come and ask my sister what she ordered. Never refilled my water. Never asked if my sister wanted another drink. Spinach dip and bread were very good. We ordered a deep dish pizza and a calzone. Got a hand tossed pizza. Was told the kitchen made the wrong one and if we wanted to them to make another one. Asked to talk to a manager. No one came. Check was dropped. Received $5.75 off. I am assuming that is the difference between the price of hand tossed and deep dish pizza. Had to go to bar to get cashed out. read more

So we arrived 30 minutes before opening on Father's Day (with my handicapped father). We were in assured we did not need to be on a list to be seated. So we waited a half an hour, and then they proceeded to seat everyone that came in, except us, because even though there were enough seats, they had reservations! Wow! Poor service, and troubleshooting. read more

Green Mill Restaurant & Bar - Didn't make a reservation but we're here ahead of 25 others. - Pizza Near Me - Willmar, Minnesota

Management is unwilling to half a sandwich. Lunch portions are ridiculous. Also, for many of the sandwiches you'll need some kind of advanced degree to be able to eat them with as messy as they are. They really need to get rid of the ciabatta bun since it falls apart. A select few servers are good but unfortunately most seem to be stuck in low gear. read more

Great food, here! Good portions, too. Priced medium. My preferences are the Lobster Mac-N-Cheese and their pizzas, but there are many great options on the menu! Full bar. Do not forget the 5-layer chocolate cake! read more

What a great find for lunch! Looks like it was recently remodeled- really nice! My husband commented that the beer was chilled at a perfect 36 degrees. I had the Green Mill Iced Tea (adults only) which was really good and only $5.50. We both had the special, chicken fajita wrap with chicken tortilla soup for $8.99-delicious! read more

Green Mill Restaurant & Bar - Chicken Fajita Wrap and Chicken Tortilla Soup - Pizza Near Me - Willmar, Minnesota

First and last time here. The side of corn was overdone and flavorless. They have a story about finding the walleye on a trip to Canada -- they should give it back to the Canucks for some proper seasoning. Bland? Nah, that would imply at least some taste. But it's the little things that drive this to the bottom -- the waitress that couldn't remember the two (yes, two) soups of the day, the table that you had to plant your feet against to keep it from rocking, and the fruit side (yep, your grand choice of sides was fries or fruit) that was rock hard and unripened. Oh, and did I mention the customer washing his hair in the bathroom? Granted, that's not the restaurant's fault, but just a foreshadowing of the delightful ambiance you can expect from the Green Mill. Do yourself a favor and dine at the nearby Casey's ... at least there you can get a tankful of gas to go along with your meal. Still, you'll probably still find some dude washing his hair in the john... read more

I've gone 3 times, all three I was meet with exceedingly incompetent and poor service. They messed up simple modifiers of the order twice. Took over ten minutes to be greeted, if at all, each visit, despite an almost empty building with multiple staff wondering about. read more

Just attempted to order food and was met with some outrageous prices. $20 for a mediocre plate of pasta in a small town...good luck.

I have eaten at several Green Mills. If you are willing to wait then definitely get the deep dish pizza, otherwise the thin crust is good too. As for this location, it is pretty much the only place to go if you are staying at one of the four surrounding hotels. The service is pretty good. read more

Better than I expected. Given that this town is fairly far out in Minnesota (which is pretty much the middle of nowhere for this East Coast boy) I freely admit to having fairly low expectations. They also had the the bonus of being open on Christmas day. They had a decent selection of beer and while not the best pizza I have had it was decent (sorry I am a pizza snob so that is as good as you will get when you are not having deep dish in Chicago or a classic slice in NYC) and reasonably priced. read more

We've only had the pizza and love it. The Old World crust is the best in my opinion. Toppings are always fresh, service is swift, and staff is friendly. Not sure why some reviews are harsh as this place is usually crowded when we stop in?!?...One of our fave pizza joints in town. read more

We were promptly seated. Greeted by our server and provided beverages! Very friendly asked kind. The food was okay. I had a low calorie option which was delicious! Calzone was thick. Over all we enjoyed our meals and drink! Definitely would recommend! Our server was very attentive! read more

Ordered delivery and it never showed up. Manager refunded my money but really did not want to.

I love their pizza and I am kind of personal to the fired mozzarella, yum. The service is usually pretty good, but it always seems to be pretty cold in there, other than that it's over all a good experience. P.S. In my personal opinion I think their mix drinks are great, I have never had a weak or burnt drink from them and the serving size is pretty decent for the price. read more

The worst service I've ever experienced in any restaurant ever. Waited 40 minutes for a lousy pizza and was told by management they didn't even put it in the oven. There was no apology just a nasty attitude. Unless you like to be treated like garbage do not go here. read more

I miss the old brunch. After the remodel, there isn't enough selection to justify the cost. And NO POPOVERS!

Friendly service, Atmosphere is a bit noisy to carry on a conversation. Food portions generally are large and require a to go box. Pizza requires extra time, so plan to wait if ordering read more

Given the fact that in a small town you have slim pickings for dining, Green Mill is a good place to go. They have great happy hour specials too. I love going to my parent's town to visit...app and three tall beers only $15 with tip. read more

Don't go here for brunch. It used to be good with an omelet station before they remodeled. The food layout is very awkward...only one way in or out. If it's crowded don't bother. The bacon and hash browns looked raw-without color. Prime rib very salty. Best brunch in town is at the golf course. Go there. read more

The last 3 times I ordered food from the Green Mill it didn't taste bad, but was nothing like described on the menu. Don't expect an item to taste the same twice. Once, my husband had a special order for the gyro (he didn't want the onions in the sauce) and they basically gave him a fajita in a pita and called it good. My chicken was burned and the waitress noted that it was, but wouldn't take it back to the kitchen! That was the worst of my experiences. Otherwise had a waitress offer to comp a meal, but that was because it tasted so bad no one could eat it. Spend your money at Applebee's. read more

This place is like every other green mill. The food is always good, warm and fresh. The staff always friendly and the prices seem pretty normal for the most part. I categorize this with grizzlys and apple bees and this beats both of those by a long shot. read more

Our food was very good, service could use some work on friendliness and attentiveness.

Awesome place great food and great service, I don't know how people can say it's just ok I've been in Willmar working for two weeks and the green mill is one of the best places in town to eat. Ate here three times and never had anything to complain about read more

Outstanding experience here! The redesign is awesome. Great atmosphere and layout. I had Canadian Walleye, which was phenomenal. The service was great. Brittney (sp?) Kept my cup full and was very attentive. Would definitely return. read more

Wasn't bad, really busy. Good service, sat at the bar, lots of choices and decent food.

I order food on March 1, 2013, The food was very good, BUT, the prices too high. Everything come up too over $50.00. I can get ie more cheeper at other places in Willmar, MN. read more

Been here many time and very rarely is the service good. Prices are high but the pizza is good. We showed up with a large group and we were served drinks and our orders were taken. About an hour later we had not been served our food so we decided to leave. The server asked us to pay for our drinks on the way out. Get real!!! Went to Applebee's instead. read more

Happy hour, cheap decent beer, half price appetizers, kick ass wings. Live it.

Wings were dry and really didn't have much flavor. We got the Buffalo, Jim beam and the Diablo. Jim beam was probably the one with the best flavor, and everything else definitely did better with ranch. The pecan craisin salad, however, was delicious. And the vinaigrette was very tasty. read more

Look green mill is hands down the best I don't care what anyone says and the bartender is awesome. I'm loyal to green mill for life!

Food is pretty decent off the menu. The Sunday brunch is okay at best, it seems to have gone downhill in the last couple of years. Wait staff is pretty good. read more

I had the Sunday brunch buffet and it was okay at best. I understand underseasoning on buffets, but, the pasta was tasteless. It obviously hadn't been cooked in seasoned water, and it doesn't matter how good a sauce is, if the pasta is tasteless it affects the whole dish. The service was also very slow with having to wait on drinks, salt and pepper. Plus I asked for ketchup and didn't get it until the food was cold, therefore not needing it anymore. read more

this place is a frawd!!!! there deep dish pizza suck!! it was still cold in the middle!!!!! im from nj visiting and i will never eat here again!!!! this place dont even deserve stars!!!! read more

Turned in my first order for something new as the Cobb salad I ordered had overcooked chicken and really funky tasting bacon along with terrible tomatoes. Got the bruchetta and was not impressed either. The bread was soggy yet l burnt and the tomatoes were overripe. This place seriously needs a new cook! I wasn't expecting the world but this is some seriously bad food. read more

Green Mill has lost my business. Terrible service. I was there for an hour when the manager said they'd lost my APPETIZER and it'd be another 10-15 minutes! Would recommend going somewhere else. read more
