I went back to one of the cities that used to be my old stomping grounds for this updated review…read more.. Fort Collins! The reason why I wanted to do an update for Nepal Tibet Imports is that I just finished burning a wonderful series of incense from the Swagat brand. I had a package of Frankincense, Night Queen, India Temple and Sandalwood incense sticks. It is quite difficult to say which fragrance from this selection was my favorite. All of them were quite satisfying in burning and gave my house a refreshing spin with the fragrances with each burn session. I have to admit these purchases are a bit older ones (because I have a queue for what incense I burn, yes I know I'm making it more complicated than I should)and sometimes when burning old incense the sticks don't stay lit but I think I only had one out the four packages that did that so very quality made incense that lasts a long time... as long as you don't get it wet of course.

This review is specifically for The Cupboard's knife sharpening service…read more I had several issues with the service: I was told the sharpening would take 48 hours. No one contacted me within that timeframe, so I waited an extra day and called myself. Only then was I told it was finished. The knife came back with a burr on the tip that I had to remove on my own. A sharpening service should inspect their work and handle basic finishing before returning the knife. The knife was damaged, and nothing was mentioned to me. It looks like a mechanical sharpening tool was used, and it left a noticeable gouge in the finish. This is a $250 Benchmade pocket knife that was essentially like new. Overall, I'm very disappointed. The communication was poor, the knife wasn't ready when promised, the finishing work was subpar, and they damaged an expensive knife without acknowledging it. I only noticed the damage when I got home. While the knife still functions, it's extremely frustrating to have your property damaged and not be informed.

We visit Fort Collins every year for the holidays and when we saw this place I had to go in even though I maxed my budget already for the week. That was until I saw the perfect casual midi length sweater jacket. It was a white/grey/black knit blend and fit perfectly and goes with everything. I immediately purchased it because it was a sign from the universe I had to have it. Overall, the items are all quite affordable. I believe the jacket was around $72. The shop as a whole was crisp and clean with such a lovely selection of tops, jeans, jackets, accessories, and more. We spent some time chatting with the shop employee, who offered up some fun outing ideas for us during our stay. I can't wait to visit again and probably will poke around their online store too until we're back in CO again soon.

Maurices consistantly has fashions that i love and that flatter, and for a pretty good price. Ive taken my 8 month old in a bulky stroller, and a 3 year old here before as well, and never felt uncomfortable in taking my time and dealing with the kids. The sales girls are ever so helpful. They offer advice when you try on stuff, run to get you other sizes if you have (hopefully!) overestimated your jeans size, and do it all in a girlfriendly manner. 1. I wish I could leave more stars, seriously…read more 2. Great selection, beautiful, thoughtful items and staff. 3. Clean, aesthetically pleasing location that is well organized and easy to move around so you can shop. 4. So that's the short and sweet. Here's a more in-depth story so you understand why I'm writing this review: I went to breakfast with my partner this morning. It was great. Arise for breakfast, check it out, 10/10 great place. So then we meandered around the shopping center, we stopped at Sprouts because we're pretty much always out of toilet paper. We were on our way to the butcher shop which I was stoked about, because who doesn't love butcher shops? Anyway, we're walking past island grill, and I look over and I see this necklace on a display, it was pretty cool. The dress the mannequin had on was also *stunning* and in a knee jerk moment I thought to myself, "I know they won't have it in my size, but the necklace is cute so whatever I'm gonna go see what's up in here." I go in, I am greeted by a voice, can't see a face but I'm welcomed by what I can only describe as an actual earth angel (I didn't grab her name, I was in a hurry waiting for a Lyft, so that's my bad). I asked to see the necklace and she very happily took it off the display, complimented me, and engaged me sincerely with interest. Just really killing the professionalism and human being game in general, you know? So I'm disparaging my body telling her I wish I could fit in the beautiful clothes in her store. So, she very nicely gives me the, "Girl, stop". So I look at a dress I like, I pout because it's not in my size, she reassures me and more importantly she *listens* to me. She grabs another dress, same designer, and proceeds to tell me about the brand, the fit, the fabric, etc. Look y'all, it's not the sales pitch. She engaged because what she does matters to her, because she's happy to work there, and because she's kind. What she didn't know was that I'm just beginning to emerge from a pretty crappy bout of depression that I, honestly, didn't think I was going to make it out of. The interaction I had at this store mattered, employees and human beans like her, matter. Her kindness and knowledge and patience are what made a necklace purchase become a necklace and a dress purchase. Items I'll cherish as long as I have them, that I tried on as soon as I got home because of the experience I had there made me feel beautiful and empowered. So yes, go to this store because it has beautiful clothes and accessories. Get something because you deserve it, honestly you do. Go back again and again because it's a shop that cares about making it's customers' experience*feel* good.
