I've become a bit of a regular here since it's just in the lobby of my office building. The staff is incredibly pleasant and there's this one guy who now knows me by name!
I typically get some form of their breakfast in the morning whether it is a muffin, bagel, or ciabatta sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon - for Americans, this is that floppy wide stuff that is prevalent in Australia (NOT the long crispy stuff from the States). The sandwiches run from $4.50 to $6.50 and you can also typically add a coffee or tea for only 1-2 dollars more. I typically don't go that route only because I'm not terribly fond of their tea.
Overall this is a very quaint, convenient, and efficient shop that just has a fantastic vibe to it. I haven't had lunch here just yet but many of my co-workers come here fairly regularly since it has quite a variety of cold cut sandwiches and fresh salads. Every day I see a line of people waiting to collect their orders during lunch but the patrons never seem to have to wait very long. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat in the CBD! read more
