Another wonderful cafe along this railway strip. Let's hit the downside first, parking is just about impossible, the spots outside are for two hours so the peeps going shopping or having their hair done all jag them and at lunch time it's busy. Which brings me to my next point, they find it hard to cope when they're full, asked is to move tables, and took an age to take orders.
Upside is the friendliness, they were most apologetic about the move & the wait, and the food was scrumptious. Fresh melt in your mouth avocado, not hard like some serve & not too ripe. The roar was to die for, so much so I should have asked where they got their bread!! Large mushrooms slowly poached and the spinach just wilted & not too soggy. Grilled Roma tomatoes & a hint of sumac- oh yeah,
They do breakfast until 3pm for all the late starters or the ones with hangovers who want bacon & eggs in the arvo.
My partner had the avocado with tahini yoghurt with cherry tomatoes and was very impressed.
Another one to add to the Malvern breakfast lists. read more
