Scheduled a pickup a month ago. I put the items out before 7 AM as required, called @ 3 PM to see ETA of pickup. Person on the phone told me they were by this morning but couldn't see the items. I seriously don't know how you couldn't. I even put a sign up. I'm really disappointed... You are ALWAYS better off dropping off items to a brick and mortar location.

My father passed away last month. My family and I decided to donate his viable belongings to Greendrop to help those in need.  We painstakingly packed, wrapped and lifted sixty boxes of clothes, appliances, books, etc., and placed them on the curb of my father's condominium the eve of April 5 for a confirmed pickup on April 6. I have included a photo of my father's driveway. My sister received a call at 12pm on April 5 from GreenDrop saying they would not be coming and rescheduled for April 16.  This would not be acceptable. Here is the email my sister sent to GreenDrop: Upon the death of my father my family and I amassed 60 boxes and bags of clothing and household items.  I scheduled a pickup on April 5 and labeled all donations NFB.  My son in law put the donation on the curb of my father's condo. At noon on April 5 I received a call from you seeking to postpone to April 16 This was unacceptable for many reasons: 1. I am elderly and cannot bring the donation back into the house and my son-in-law is working out of state. 2.  I have the Salvation Army coming to take some furniture on the 13th.  They will not have access with the 60 boxes and bags in the house 3.  There are buyers coming in on the 14th 4.  It will cost the estate at least $600 to dispose of this. 5.  I will be fined by the condo board if these bags continue to sit at the curb During repeated calls yesterday I was told the pickup was not cancelled, and that you would be there by 7 PM You never showed We have no choice but to have GetJunk remove the items. Not only will the poor not receive these items but we will have to pay a large amount of money to have them disposed. We are writing to the NY Times to have this printed to prevent other families from dealing with this company in the midst of their grief.

I have left things out for Green Drop at least ten times. They have always picked up bags as scheduled. Never a problem.

They fail to pick up your donations on several occasions you carry donation and place them outside no guarantee they will be picked up.

We did a drop off in Springfield, NJ and the woman was very pleasant registering us (it didn't allow me to do with a drop off earlier) and explained how the process worked.

I also found some treasures in the home goods section. They have a pretty good selection of formal dresses from the 80s to current. I definitely snagged a couple to try to sew into some sort of costume. The staff were really friendly and so were the other customers. A really nice experience!

They are closing at the end of April, 2024 and moving across the street according to a post on their Facebook page. There are still a few pieces of furniture deeply discounted (bookshelves for $25.00), a couple racks of clothes and some kitchen items, hangers, toys still for sale but beware... the offerings are exceptionally few. The shop is nearly empty, and the staff seem preoccupied enough to even notice you are there. From Sloan's Thrift Facebook page: Exciting News! Sloans thrift will be closing its doors and relocating across the street to its new location next to the new Planet Fitness (old rite aid location or for better clarity, near Ollie's. This move is already in process. Even thought the idea saddens us, we are looking forward to a bigger location. The plan is to close up last week in April and reopen May1st. More updates will come as things progress but just remember now Bristol will have 2 great thrifts stores in one great location!

They have great deals on paint for your house or crafting. I got a nice size jar of craft paint for under $20! I was surprised by the fantastic color choices too! They had new winter coats for $10 but only in a size medium. You just never know what you will find there! They always have new items at the end caps by the register or you can ask where more are. I also joined their fb page. They post brand new inventory photos when they get large shipments! Fantastic for buying for yourself or reselling! We are lucky to have this location. There are others as well. You just never know what you'll find.

It looks like a lot of people have been donating furniture. They have a lot of space displaying that. I digress. I like tchotchkes/ Knicknacks. And I like keeping my eyes peeled for little vases that way I can give them out as gifts if somebody's not feeling good or if they're feeling good and just need a little surprise. I was happy to see a Patrick Nagel picture here. ((It's very nostalgic for 80s lovers like me!! )
