I didn't have to move to a western state with uncertain weather or politics. Chris is a wonderful, thoughtful, considerate gentleman. I am certain that at the root of this, there are communication errors. The thorough workers speak little English, for a start. The crazy weather lately, has kept Chris coming and going no doubt, like a dog chasing his own tail, trying to catch up, with his customer's work between heavy rain + winds. I'm sure it will all get sorted out. It was easier for me to explain things to the intelligent Latinos, than to the 2 locals who came to "manage" later. And I just missed Chris, I was told.

Horrible experience…read more I have a tricky spot to mow. I know its tricky. Thats why i wanted to hire a group to do it. I called and asked for someone to come out and confirm they could do the tricky spot. They swore they didnt need to. I insisted. We stood in the tricky spot, and i let them know this is the whole reason i want a mower. If this is mowed they are fine and if not i dont need them. The assured me it was fine. For about a month they mowed it. Then i noticed it looked like it was being skipped. I watched them skip it today. I called they sent someone back out to finish. He came with a supervisor or something to do it. They yelled and cussed for a while, and then mowed a different spot to bare dirt. Then got me and asked if that was everything. I said no, do the tricky spot. They refused and asked if they could go. I said if they werent going to mow, go ahead. Then i got an owner/manager/well spoken guy on the phone. He said i was a liar and we never discussed that section and it would cost a lot extra. I burned most of a day trying to get them to mow. Only good part was the refunded todays cut, and cancelled the contract without much work. Only use if you have a small, flat, square yard.

So...I repeat it here I was a customer of the "Tim" portion of the company when it was Aqua Marines and was always impressed by Tim's unfailing upbeat attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to his company and customer satisfaction. This has certainly played through with the consolidation of his company with Dan's whose attitude and enthusiasm is the same. He will meet an appointment and keep you informed! This year I had my deck pressure washed and re-stained (as I do every two years). The result has been incredible. I love the pressure wash they do because the whole deck is clean and brighter without the frayed wood finish that the previous company I used always left. The staining "guys" were amazing. It was like watching Rembrandt work - they were THAT meticulous and professional. The deck looked absolutely brand new when they finished. I was even cautioned to check it thoroughly after the impending rains (forecast for the following two days) stopped and if I found any problems, to let them know and they would come back and take care of them. If that happens, I definitely will. Until then...I have a total showpiece right now. These guys ROCK!
