We are recommending Ask Bill First as highly as possible! As a small graphic design company, we…read morerely heavily on our computers, our server and our network. We've had trouble in the past with tech help because either they aren't super familiar with Macs; they're mean and condescending to us; or their only solution is "nuke the system" which means hours and hours of downtime to clear everything off of the computer and then reinstall everything. Not only does 'nuking the system' render us incapable of working, it also seems to lean heavily in favor of the tech, who gets paid by the hour and doesn't need to do anything but delete everything and then re-install it and sit there while it installs. What a pleasure and a surprise to find Ask Bill First! Bill Jimenez surpassed our expectations with his knowledge, his easy going manner, his attention to detail and how he got everything working quickly, seamlessly and perfectly! He can work over the phone and/or just remote in to see what's going on, or just walk us through what to do. It's almost like he can read our minds -- he talks us through the steps to make everything work again. He's extremely kind and patient and he never talks down to us or makes us feel bad in any way. I am careful about who I recommend but I have no reservations about recommending Ask Bill First and Bill Jimenez for ANY computer service needs. He's SO NICE and SO GOOD! Our favorite tech ever. Thank you Bill!

We were having some drain issues on a Sunday. Yeah, I know it was a weekend of all days, hence why…read moreI only contacted companies that took call, open 24 etc. I started with companies that had 5 star rating, let me be clear I was willing to pay a fair price. I happened to call Rollie's as they fit the criteria. From the minute the owner answered the call, he sounded annoyed. The longer the conversation went on I was feeling like i was a bother. He genuinely made the call uncomfortable, that I even asked if he wanted to do it (wants the business) and that I could get someone else. He made me feel like I was interrupting his Sunday, which I get I was, but it did say this business was 24/7 on call. He made sure to say it was going to cost me and that it was a 40 min drive; his tone was condescending. I had him on speaker and even my husband was appalled by his behavior. I decided to end the conversation with that I would get someone else, that he didn't seem like he really wanted my business. I ended up getting my problem fixed with a different company that had superior customer service from the first phone call all the way through to him walking out of my home with my problem fixed and at a way cheaper price than your quote. Customers don't want to feel like we are putting YOU out or that we are a bother. Customers don't need to put up with rude businesses. We can bring our money elsewhere. There was a legit reason why I needed it fixed on a Sunday. If you'd rather spend family time with no interruptions, might I suggest you close your business to weekdays only. Even if I were to have believed you that it was no problem, your tone suggested otherwise. I don't even think I could have trusted your work or the end price for that matter.

Our LG refrigerator died after 5.5 years. We called Action, an authorized LG repair shop. He said…read morethe loss of freon was from the failure of the sealed system. For the parts to be covered under warranty, or the refrigerator to be replaced as unrepairable, he would have to call LG tech support. He refused to do without taking the refrigerator to his shop to pin point the leak, and said this would be $800-$1000. He would not diagnose the leak in the home. So no call to tech support, no warranty. According to LG tech support, technicians diagnose these problems in the home all the time and call the results in while they're still on site. It's hard to decide whether to fix or junk when the technician won't work with the manufacturer. I did find a repair shop to diagnose the problem in the home and work with LG. Beware, and ask questions before you hire this company. This was a big waste of time and money, and I still don't have a refrigerator. And I'll have to hire another tech.
