She is absolutely wonderful, a true professional in all respects. She goes out of her way to make sure that I am comfortable and at ease which makes the appointment better for both of us. The Dentist chair is not somewhere that one automatically feels relaxed, yet with Dana I feel relaxed and do not have any fear of pain or discomfort. Dr. Stockheimer is probably the very best Dentist that I have ever encountered. I actually look forward to going to my appointments. Thank you Dr. Stockheimer and a huge thank you to Dana!!!

The attention to detail, type of work, care quality, and office experience are all 1 star. She was distracted by, and complained more than once, about the remodeling that was happening in the clinic rooms, overly distraught (not just a little annoyed, but a this-has-completely-ruined-my-day attitude) that things weren't where she expected them to be. When asked basic questions she displayed a remarkable lack of interest, concern, or even knowledge about common tools in her profession (like retainers, for example). She did not seem to understand how top and bottom teeth are supposed to comfortably line up. I'm glad to have learned this about her early in my kids' treatment, when it's still very easy to switch providers. Not sure how this place made the Best of Madison list!

Even better, there were some cancellations and I got in for a first time appointment within two days. Despite the current environment, I felt good about the precautions that are in place. You've got to call from the car to check in before entering, stand on opposite sides of the lobby from other patients, traffic flows in one direction, and everybody has on masks (some people even two or three). Overall the office is clean and modern with the latest equipment. Will was my hygienist and was fantastic. He was incredibly thorough, explained every detail/reasoning behind each step, and kept up good conversation and laughs throughout. Although a short time with the dentist, she was thorough and informative. I don't know if anybody will ever look forward to the dentist, but this spot made a solid first impression!

Both Dr. Brown and his staff are top professionals, and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with their ability to solve my dental problems. My former dentist declared an upper molar beyond repair after two unsuccessful attempts to crown it, and said it must be pulled. After several years I decided I had to do something about it, and went to Westside Dental. To my great surprise, Dr. Brown said that he could save the tooth, and crowned it successfully without a root canal. It's still going strong after three years. Thanks doc, you're the greatest!

I'm generally terrified to go to the dentist, based on some really bad experiences in my past. Everything about this office is different. The receptionists were friendly and extremely helpful as I transferred records from a different dentist. The hygienist was wonderful, taking care to ensure my comfort throughout the process. And Dr. Carly was a breath of fresh air. It was the first time in years that I've been to a dentist who didn't try to up-sell me on everything from unnecessary crowns to Botox.
