Like every other staffing agency, you spend minutes filling out their on-line application yet an…read morehour or so going through the paper process. If you already have a job but are in the process of looking for a new one, the smart thing to do is have a plan b before you leave your current employer. However, it was clear that Accurate Staffing doesn't feel that way as they seemed annoyed that I wanted to give my employer a proper two weeks notice. All staffing agencies want you to drop everything at the last possible minute and be available within a few hours notice...yes, the staff here was friendly but they definitely wasted my time.They knew I was employed when they called me and then never bothered to call me in for an interview with the company they were trying to place me with because I insisted on a 2 week notice. They also have some questionable requirements that I've never dealt with at other temp agencies. One issue is that you are required to pay for your own drug test($25.00) if you agree to take on an assignment. This should NEVER be a requirement of an employee! The company that wants to take you on should be the ones to pocket the expense. There was also an additional $25.00 fee if you agreed to an assignment but decided the job wasn't for you. Even if you only worked one day and decided it wasn't the right fit- you would have $25.00 deducted from your paycheck. Then after wasting over an hour doing paper work, they email you (without telling you to check it) a notice stating that within 24 hours, they want you to return to their location- for what?! I was just there! Again, this agency had some hidden fees that other places don't require you to pay so make sure you read the fine print!

The staff here are really nice, however, the application process is like signing your sole over to the devil himself. It clearly states that you work for Mancan & that if you refuse a job that they wont help you find one later on down the road...like you're being blackmailed into taking unwanted job positions or else! And the jobs are just crap factory positions that only want to pay minimum wage, not $10.00 like most places. And they keep calling me with horrible jobs they think I might be good at that are 2nd shift when I only want to work first. I'm not saying don't go here, a job is a job & beggars can't be choosers but I really question this place & didn't get a good vibe from it at all.

Then when I finally met with Sparky, he wanted to place me at a company that was further away from my home. Although the pay was more, I wasn't interested and didn't understand why we weren't discussing the factory position I was interested in. I received an email to come back in and watch an orientation video for the position I didn't want. But we got three days of snow (over 8 inches the first night) so I wasn't able to leave my driveway. I had emailed Sparky to let him know and ask to reschedule- it's been over a week and I've received no reply. I don't know how they make any money if they don't place willing workers.

I would not recommend as I have not heard from them since my interview a week ago. They do not seem to actively seek to place you in a position.
