My wife and I love this place. She loves the rice and black pepper chicken. My favorites are sweet and sour chicken, lemon pepper chicken. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place and I probably won't be going back... if only I had known! Prices were fair for a Sun. evening, I think it was around $11 per person. I'm all for "Hole in the wall places" but this place appeared to be pretty unclean. Tons of food under the tables and around the buffet floors, dirty tongs and lukewarm food. While eating the crab, we noticed that they still looked dirty as if they weren't washed properly. I've attached pics of all the dirt under our table along with the pieces of napkins they stuffed under the table to keep it balanced, the shredded booths and some of the dirty crabs, lol that is NOT seasoning ;). Good price - bang for your buck. Nothing truly to write home about - good variety ranging from basic Asian dishes (broccoli beef) to the American classics (fried chicken wings). You can tell some of the foods had been out on the buffet line for quite some time. They do a decent job of keeping an employee on the floor stirring the different entrees in hopes that nothing gets stuck to bottom and keeping it looking clean and fresh. There was a noodle station where you can create your own plate. There were a good variety of soups (about 6-8). The egg drop and hot and sour soups were some of the best I've had. Dessert - Soft serve and hard serve ice cream. The one thing is that the hard serve is self-serve and thankfully the person in front me stuck their head out and away from the box before coughing (whew, close one). read more

Although they do not offer sushi, they have just about everything else including the hibachi. Plenty of good seating and the restaurant is clean. If you go for lunch you get more for your money. Dear Great Wall Buffet... Your food is AMAZING, but you really REALLY need to pay more attention to the temperature of your seafood. I saw that your shrimp were on ice, but when I cracked a crab claw the meat was definitely warm and had been sitting. Take another look at the crab? It's FILTHY! Some had rot holes through the claws, but over all there's this dingy film on all of them! Then there's your crawfish only the opposite: the crawfish were in liquid and were room temp instead of kept hot. When I sampled crawfish tail I could TASTE the bad. It was rubbery and you could smell/taste the age. We were there the better part of 3 hours. Not once did I see anyone come out to tend the buffet, especially the seafood which needs to be changed out every couple hours. Needless to say... I'm very very sick today. Seafood is not something you should screw with. I will say thank you very much for the amazing amount of keto friendly options and sugar free jello, maybe even a thank you for the "magic crab diet" that you unwittingly offered. I have been going to Great Wall since I was in high school. They've renovated and it's pretty nice and there's a lot of room unless you try to come during peak hours during the weekend. The people are generally more friendly than a lot of Chinese restaurants you may be used to. It's a great value for how much food you can get. On weekends they have frog and crab legs on the buffet. I do regret to say that the quality of the food has greatly diminished since I first started coming years ago. I'm not sure if they switched suppliers or what but the meat often has a bland almost sour quality and the rice is mushy and the meals drenched in sauce. It's hit or miss sometimes now but just find what you like and stick to it. General Tso's chicken is almost always good. It's still worth coming just for the speed and portions for the price. read more
