They lack communication and problem solving! Their resolution is to call you everyday to go pick your kid up. This school is definitely about the money only and leaving kids by the wayside! I would never recommend this school! They leave kids crying by themselves and say oh he's having another day eye roll walk away from child. They nickel and dime you all year, school supplies, lunches, parties, snacks. All the tuition they provide NOTHING for your child!! If you want fake Christians to gaslight you enroll. If you are in the "in crowd" your kid will get beyond great treatment. The moment you question bruises and scratch marks on your child be prepared to be gaslit and put in the "annoying crowd" they don't acknowledge you unless it's for money!! Run run run the staff in upper management don't even bother calling you back. After emails voicemails text etc. just ignore you!! My child is now in therapy due to the unknown treatment from his teacher! So sad!!! They tell their students and the "cool parents" they cater to, to write 5 star reviews!! if you have all kinds of money to blow onto tuition for your child learning nothing and your child just being another number by all means enroll today if you care about your child's mental health, don't go anywhere near the school!!!

As ironic as it sounds, they don't care for the children's education. They have rude secretaries who act as if you're bothering their day when you call. I never took my kid out of a school so fast. This is a sorry excuse for a Christian school

She cried to be left at school, she had severe tantrums at home, and she was starting to hit. We do not use any form of physical punishment in our home & we do not teach her to fight. The toddler room has been thru several teachers because the classroom is so chaotic that teachers cannot run it. None of the teachers have a degree or know anything about special needs which is a huge red flag considering the fact that they accept children with disabilities. And I believe this company is all about the money. My child is autistic so she is nonverbal. One day she came home with a bite mark and no one knew how it happened & they did not allow me to view the cameras. They wrote me a piece of paper that was just to cover their behinds. Fast forward now my child is in a chaotic toddler room and I drop my child off and I noticed that her cry elevated and I went back to see what was wrong and there is a little girl standing over top of her slapping her in her face. The teacher back was turned towards the kids and she didn't even care that there was a child crying. As soon as I stormed in the room the teacher wanted to act like she cared. I wasn't having it. I got so emotional and pulled my child immediately. Another incident is I saw a teacher yank a child by his arm and scream at him "WERE IN THE HALLWAY" I spoke to management about it and they shrugged it off until I said I was pulling my daughter from the center. I had a meeting with corporate and she decided to bring the teacher back and my mind is blown! Corporate daycares like celebree do not care about your kids, they only want your money!

Hi, families/ parents!…read more My first son entered KinderCare learning center at Paxson Lane in Newark in 2018. At only five months old, I had many concerns sending my very vulnerable and non-speaking baby to a daycare center. My job leads me into many daycare facilities regularly. I can honestly tell you that many daycare facilities are poorly ran, unsanitary, and revolve with new staff constantly...but not this one. My son was instantly greeted with love, and compassion. I was a new parent sending my sweet baby into a building with a bunch of strangers. I couldn't think of anything more anxiety-provoking. I remember his first day, I called the center twice to check on my guy. Not only that, but they have an app where they post photos very frequently, and you can nearly see what your little one is doing all day. At the end of the day, you receive a full report of your babe. You see what they ate (or, in my case how many ounces of each bottle), diaper changes, and nap times and lengths of time. My sons first teacher became such a huge positive, loving, and educational person in his life. She is truly one of the sweetest people I can think of. I can honestly tell you that all five of the teachers that my son has been with have genuinely cared and loved him, and have strived to ensure he thrives. There was no hesitation to send our second son to KCLC at 12 weeks old, when I had to return to work. The center is genuinely a staff of family (not literally), but every single person that's there (I do know them all by name) is truly awesome. Their positivity, happy attitudes, and genuine commitment to serving our children are unlike anything I have seen at other daycares. There is truly no better feeling then dropping your child off in the morning and knowing that they will be cared for exceptionally. Both of my children are absolutely thriving and come home with new skills daily. The center has gone through so many changes with COVID, and they are going through so many extra steps to keep the children safe and sanitary. I could go on and on about our KCLC family, but I can assure you, you will not regret sending your child here.

The owner, Ms. Cindy, is very kind and reasonable. In addition, she is very knowledgeable in regards to early childhood education and has years of experience in the field. When he began attending this school, he was in the young toddlers classroom, before moving to older toddlers and then Get Set, which prepares three year olds for preschool. His most recent teacher, Ms. Kim, is a gem. She's been at the school for over 10 years and it is very apparent that she loves what she does. She's not one of those teachers who views it as a job to collect a paycheck. She obviously has a passion for working with toddlers, which is what you want when you're sending your toddler to a facility and you're relying on others to attend to them for 6-8 hours a day. When we were having issues with potty training, she gave us valuable tips that we practice successfully to this day. She also taught my son Spanish, among many other valuable things. If we could take her with us, we would. She is the epitome of what you want in a teacher at an early childhood learning center. While enrolled at the school, my son had an accident in which he broke his foot. I was irate as none of the teachers were able to explain how it happened. Ms. Cindy worked with us and we did not have to pay a dime for the medical expenses. There were a few other little mishaps that can be experienced at any childcare center. For example, we would send him with breakfast in bowls labeled with his name and during one week, not one bowl came home. This was frustrating because parents are required to label their child's belongings and you expect said belongings to be returned. The tuition is a bit costly and food is not provided. It's something to be mindful of if you're thinking about enrolling your child.

She grew up in a home daycare ran by her grandmother, and appreciated the relationships her grandmother developed with the children that were truly loving. I attended a traditional facility based program that was more classroom-based and therefore better equipped in some ways, but far less personal. Most of the places we visited in Delaware fell firmly into one of these two categories. When we found Little Stars, it quickly felt like home. Ginny Cahill, the director, answered all of our questions with knowledge, experience, and care. Her mother is the director at the other location, located off Kirkwood Highway, and prior to that ran a home daycare for many years. The values of the home daycare experience shine through into everything Little Stars does. However, it comes tied with the manpower and resources of a somewhat larger program. Inside, there are classroom "pods" that have walls on three sides, but on the fourth corner connect openly to a center area. As a result the children and staff members are all connected as well, providing many opportunity for sharing experiences and friendship building. The teachers know all the students, not only their own. My son was enrolled at Little Stars for 3 1/2 years. The strong bonds that he developed with the staff members and other children could best tell you the story of how satisfied we are with this facility. He was well cared for and engaged throughout his time there, and will miss it significantly as he moves on to "big kid school". Both Little Stars locations are well-run, organized, and safe places to enroll your children. The teachers take a strong interest in the lives of the children, and better than most daycares, prioritize learning alongside play. I have trusted my son's well-being to them for quite some time, and will continue to utilize their service for needed vacation and in-service days. If you are looking for care for your child, I strongly suggest you check them out.
