So I only had a preliminary meeting at this "center" since my 5 month old was already enrolled at a…read moretraditional center and I was looking for something closer to my work. I literally was only in the center for 5 minutes and had a pretty bad experience. When I walked in there were about 5-7 kids around 3 or 4 that we're playing with a cute pop-up tent maze. They were heavily active and a little rough bouncing around in such a small living room sized space and my first inclination was "How would my barely sitting up unassisted infant be in this environment? Would she be safe and monitored?" The answer to the latter would be probably not based on the context of the rest of the meeting. I spoke with one of the staff (out of 2) that I had planned this meeting with the week before. Even with the prep time, she seemed frazzled and on-edge during our encounter due to the hectic nature of the play going on. But I tried to look past that. So her first question derailed our whole meeting it seemed. "Is your baby eating food yet?" Suffice it to say, I mentioned that I had been interested in the philosophy of baby led weaning and that was a trigger it seemed. She immediately and callously cut me off to say: "This isn't the place for you. My babies are feeding themselves by 10 months." Which, independence is cool and I totally can get down with that, but as I tired to let her know that BLW wasn't something I was committed to or ride-or-die passionate about and could be flexible since this is my first baby/learning as I go she just seemed completely turned off and switched onto an entirely aggressive demeanor. She then asked about my baby's sleeping habits. When I told her they're short cat naps of 20-30 minutes at times (since she's going through a mental leap with a longer 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon, plus she sleeps through the night from 930pm-730am) she again cut me off with a disapproving look to crassly ask if my pediatrician "talked to me about that" because she wasn't napping enough. Before I could even say anything about the influence of the leaps or how her napping schedule fluctuates, she cut our interview and said "I'm just gunna be honest, this isn't the place for you." So... because my baby isn't on solids or napping for huge chunks of the day, we were turned away in like the rudest customer service experience I've ever had? (Don't forget, all this happened in 5 minutes.) It seems to me, they wanted an infant who could feed themselves and nap for most of their time so the staff could take a hands-off approach and wouldn't need to spend as much time nurturing the infant. Which, that makes sense when you have 7 other largely self-sufficient children to look after, but then why take infants at all then? Either way, her demeanor was incredibly rude. I could barely answer any of her questions before she cut me off and practically threw me out. It was seriously baffling and felt very much like a personal attack (this could just be my first time mom sensitivity.) I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on how I was treated and pretty much belittled and demeaned. There was zero attempt at understanding, patience or even listening. Enroll at your own risk.

I don't typically write reviews, but wanted to take the time to recommend this daycare. My son has…read morebeen at this daycare for over 3 years now and I could not be more pleased with where he is at developmentally! As first time parents, we were looking for an "in-home" daycare to allow our child more 1 on 1 attention and that is exactly what we got. We toured several large center daycares before we made our decision. If I had to do it again, I would not have chosen any differently. The teachers take the time to send pictures and update us daily on how our son is doing. They invest time in each child that is there and it shows. Because of their care, my son is further than many others his age developmentally and socially! If you are looking for teachers who truly care about your child and willing to dedicate time to his/her learning, I highly recommend Happy Munchkins Daycare!

I never thought I'd have to search for a daycare once my daughter left LTA in 2022 to head to…read morekindergarten I didn't think I'd ever need daycare services again. That was until I had a son in 2023. I instantly knew I wanted my son to attend LTA as they had played such a pivotal role in my daughter's learning process. When I made my first outreach they were completely full and had no spots at the time. So, I waited and one random day I went to the school and Ms. Ginatay was so pleasant, she provided me with all the information needed for enrollment and we arranged a walk through even though I was already familiar with the school there were some new faces and few changes that had taken place over the years. My son began his first day of pre-k this past September and I am completely satisfied with the level of care they provide to my child. Ms. Mijae, & Ms. Ebony are amazing, they are so patient with their class, and I have watched first hand as they multitask and meet each child's need. My son went here for a little over two years. If my wife did not have to relocate because of a new…read morejob opportunity, we most likely would have kept him at this location until he was ready to begin kindergarten. The owner, Ms. Cindy, is very kind and reasonable. In addition, she is very knowledgeable in regards to early childhood education and has years of experience in the field. When he began attending this school, he was in the young toddlers classroom, before moving to older toddlers and then Get Set, which prepares three year olds for preschool. His most recent teacher, Ms. Kim, is a gem. She's been at the school for over 10 years and it is very apparent that she loves what she does. She's not one of those teachers who views it as a job to collect a paycheck. She obviously has a passion for working with toddlers, which is what you want when you're sending your toddler to a facility and you're relying on others to attend to them for 6-8 hours a day. When we were having issues with potty training, she gave us valuable tips that we practice successfully to this day. She also taught my son Spanish, among many other valuable things. If we could take her with us, we would. She is the epitome of what you want in a teacher at an early childhood learning center. While enrolled at the school, my son had an accident in which he broke his foot. I was irate as none of the teachers were able to explain how it happened. Ms. Cindy worked with us and we did not have to pay a dime for the medical expenses. There were a few other little mishaps that can be experienced at any childcare center. For example, we would send him with breakfast in bowls labeled with his name and during one week, not one bowl came home. This was frustrating because parents are required to label their child's belongings and you expect said belongings to be returned. The tuition is a bit costly and food is not provided. It's something to be mindful of if you're thinking about enrolling your child.
