They came out today, and did a great job. They did a spikeless trim of a big oak tree by our house. and trimmed a maple too. They took all the branches, and left like they never showed up. They did a reasonable job of clean up afterward (My husband was there to direct them, otherwise they would have left a huge pile of sawdust remaining from grinding the 12" diameter stump). All in all, the job took them 40 minutes. We had one tree removed to the ground, one bush removed, and one tree trimmed all for $700. We had one quote from a different tree service for less, but we were unable to get a hold them so we went with Frontier Tree Service (Mark Winscher). The rep was all for doing the job right there at the time of the quote, but my husband asked that they come back the next afternoon. They were willing to come back, and were prompt, arriving at the agreed upon time. Their brochure indicates they will accept credit cards, but they did not list that there is a 4.5% to use one. They live in Pierz, MN but come to my area often, as the website reports. This might be the reason for the high pressure sales seeing they are out of the area. They did a good job.

Noone returned to finish the job and despite many attempts to communicate, there has been no further correspondence from them. I was initially connected with this business through HomeAdvisor. I left a negative review on the HomeAdvisor website under this company. It has not been published, or has been deleted. Completely unreliable and zero integrity.

They were here Yesterday. They said they would be here by 8 AM, and I think they arrived 10 minutes early. They had four people doing the job, and had it all done by 9 AM. They disposed of everything and you could not even tell they had been there, except for the fact that the limbs were gone, our yard was more open, and we get two more hours of sun each day in our backyard

They also scheduled an appointment to cut down my neighbors tree so when they were there I told them to go ahead on mine. One of the main trunks was over an electrical line. I watched them dismantle the tree and get everything to the ground. Quite amazing. I did not request a clean up as I will do tht and save the wood. Very satisfied with the speed and professionalism. The price was great compared to some others. Highly recommend if they are in your area.

You tell him how much you want and he delivers it and even stacks it. No dumping it in your driveway for you to figure out how to haul it. We stack our wood around the back and Pat unloads and hauls the wood in a wheel barrel. Don't worry about him driving his truck all over your lawn. Give him a little notice since he is a bit up North. He will gladly deliver to the Twin Cities.
