My daughter and I stopped in to get both of our haircuts. First the woman that checked us in seemed mad. I had a trim, but my daughter showed her a picture of what she wanted, which was a shag. She had this before at her best friends house, and it looked great. The stylist proceeds to cut her hair into a short bob, telling her this would make her hair look thicker. She didn't ask for her hair to look thicker, she asked for a shag. My daughter is 37 years old and knew what she wanted, not what the stylist thought would be best. After talking to a couple of people who does hair, she was told that she would have to let this bob grow before anything could be done. So, now she had to live with a haircut that she hates for a few months. My daughter has struggled throughout her life with low self esteem and had began to feel better about herself. Now thanks to a stylist with which we never got her name, my daughter has taken two steps back. She had the fourth chair on the left when we came in the door. She was a caucasion woman with long hair. We will never go to Great Clips at this location or any other Great Clips due to this bad experience. If there were a way to give them less than a one star review, I would do it. Very upset mother!! read more

So we decided to try this place because we had almost maxed out our budget for my daughters junior prom. She was just getting a style anyway no cut no shampoo just a fairly simple style. This place did a horrible job and charged 55$. They spent a total of about 15 minutes on her hair and with time running out we had no Choice but to take it and go but I was very disappointed. I didn't want to hurt my daughter so I didn't say anything. I didn't want her to feel like it was anything but beautiful so we just paid and left. I have inclosed pictures of what we showed them she wanted and what we ended up with. I had to spend another hour at home curling her hair. They did a horrible lazy job. read more

I went to get a trim on Wednesday night while sitting in my chair the lady started trimming my hair , my hair was pretty long, I went to just get trim and I wanted her to put a layer in and I saw her look at one side of my hair and sigh.... I should've said something right then and there, when I saw her do that, when she finally got done and I was still trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and I still kept my mouth shut when I should've said something. I had to actually make her stop cutting my hair because she actually did not know what to do and when she was spoke she was mumbling the entire time and I couldn't understand a word she was saying. One Half of my hair is all the way up to my chin, while the other half is below it and it is very long in the middle of my back if that makes sense... all I know is she chopped the heck out of my hair. I went back to get a refund and they refused she said that service was already done and they said that they could fix it for me. But I said hell no and got the hell out of there. All I know... something was very disturbing wrong with that young lady and I feel bad for her but if you can't cut somebody's hair and you're only used to cutting men's and boys hair then you shouldn't take that challenge and actually should not be cutting hair ....why take a chance and ruin somebody's hair!? Just be truthful and say I'm sorry but I don't feel comfortable doing this. AND don't be a cheapskate and not return the money to the customer and own up to your responsibility when you screw somebody's hair up how about that? I dont know how to feel about this place to be honest . They have a system where you checkin so if you have a barber you like it's just random . I have only been to this location twice and both time I had sort of different experiences . First visit was honestly pretty good and was satisfied with the outcome of what I was aiming for . I felt it was strange that I was cut so quickly though once I sat in the chair after my wait . But again it looked good and was happy with the cut . The second time was a bit different, I checked in online so I didnt have to wait so long . I asked to get just my sides cut and it still seemed longer than what I requested . She acted like she used the wrong clip and went over it once more . The 2nd time seemed even more rushed though . Idk if that's the style of this place to try and go thru people as quickly as possible. But in my opinion that is pretty poor service and never translates to a good haircut . So in conclusion if you want a fast haircut this might just be your place to checkout but I dont know if I will return . read more
