I know my roots need to be done and I have an appointment with my regular stylist next week, but I just wanted to have it washed and styled for now. Not only did she do a terrible job, but she charged me an extra $9 to shampoo it when the website and the sign in the salon clearly state that the shampoo is included. When my daughter asked about why I was overcharged all three ladies in the salon tried to convince her that the shampoo was not included. When she pushed back and showed that there was a sign in the salon and on the website that the shampoo is included then they made us wait for half an hour. Finally I was told the manager was not there but she will refund me. So I just had to leave and trust that someone in the future will refund me at some point? Horrible experience!

My first visit in June with Kyra was nothing short of an impression. She took her time to consult and enlighten based on the details I shared, hands down the most educational session I have ever received - yay for understanding mixed hair more! This session today allowed us the opportunity to delve into more exploration: layers, face framing and even inquisitions on coloring in the future - which I have never done. After both sessions, I have left the salon feeling heard, light, rejuvenated and never rushed. Kyra's tangible passion and love for her craft leaves you feeling and looking beautiful. My convertible-exposed hair thanks her indefinitely. Looking forward to future visits at Curlspiration.

Beth did my color (blonde), Lindsay did my cut (long, layered), and they are both so sweet and talented! They listen and deliver. In a decade, this is the first time I've had my hair done locally and not gone home and cried - I went out and showed it off. And if I hadn't been happy, I suspect they would've revised without making me feel bad. Just good girls taking their craft and business seriously. If you want to feel pretty, go sit in their chairs!

I was greeted by a woman who began setting me up, but then left the process to another woman. I was a bit confused, but the process was finished and I was led to the chair by Joann. We talked briefly about what I wanted: fresh, clean, preserving my current style, and a maximum of 1.5 inches off. Afterward she led me to have my hair washed. Throughout the entire process she explained which products she was using and why. I thought it was helpful in case I wanted to try to maintain this current look. Since I wanted all the same length, the cut itself was very quick. She framed my face and added styling products for the blow dry. The end result was fantastic! She met my needs and did a great job with the blow dry. I'm sure since my hair is straight and resistant to curl that this blow out won't last long, but I'm super happy with the result! The price was a bit more expensive than a typical mid range shop, but very worth it for the results! Update: I never knew blow dries were that deceiving! Never had a complimentary blowout with the cut before. I know my hair is fine, but I now have a full crown of baby hairs due to breakage most likely from the roughness and pulling from the process...it's so bad I think I might have to get bangs...it looks so wispy and awkward. Anyway I asked to preserve the same style I had before, after I washed out the blowout I almost cried. The ends are blunt, choppy, and uneven. I asked her to make look neat and have a nice shape...which it already did, just some split ends and you might as well as put my hair in a pony tail + cut and it would have turned out the same way. I'm going to call them tomorrow for a revision and change my review based on that.

I called Lush after reading their great reviews and asked if it would be possible to get my extensions cut & for them to help me with the placement of the clips. They were very accommodating and nice & set an appointment for me right away. I went in with my extensions in their bag and was sat down right away- did not have to wait a minute, they also quickly offered me something to drink. Amy clipped them in the way she thought looked best. She kept in mind that these were for my wedding and made recommendations accordingly. She cut them perfectly for my hair and made sure to explain to me which pieces to clip in where and how in order to get the best out of them on my wedding day. I have to say, customer service like this is hard to find these days! Amy made me feel like what I wanted and my situation really mattered, and that's what is going to keep me coming back as long as I live in this area! Not to mention my extensions look great now! Definitely recommend them! :)
