Be vary wary of the older ladies cutting hair here, especially the one that's positioned in the middle. She is just awful at cutting hair. This is for the the old lady who sits close to wall. One of the rudest persons I have ever met. She was so rude when I sat down to make small talk, I could not believe it. Did not care about anything! Did not even try to cut my hair like the picture. I should have just left, my fault. Seems like so many complaints about her, she needs to be fired. Plus she can not cut a man's hair to save her life. Go back to school! LAZY!! I normally don't come to any Great Clips because their prices are higher than Farmington Salon. This is a busy location. You're supposed to sign up for a spot on their website before coming in. But if you don't, you can still get on the waiting list when you come in. There were about five hair stylists working when I came in, and I still had to wait thirty minutes before it was my turn. Two of the stylists (the overweight white ladies) were not very friendly. My hair stylist (an Asian woman) was nice though, and she did my hair the way I wanted and seemed to have fun doing it too. read more

Was told to Fuck Off in the salon from a woman a barber!! Manager did nothing During the season it becomes hard to breath for me due to my allergies. I lowered my mask for a few seconds to breath through my nose after waiting patiently for over an hour. Yes I booked online but still has to wait. The women you worked there rudely said put on your mask! The kept scowling at me through her mirror shaking her head in disgust and rolling her eyes at me while she was checking herself out at work. THEN to make matters worse she scowled at me again wearing her "2 masks" As she walked out the door. I lowered my mask again to breath again BY THE DOOR for fresh air wear I was seated and said "bye". Then she turned around and said FUCK YOU! In front of me and customers. Then she went back inside and told customers I called her a bitch after I called her out for telling me to fuck off, after I said bye. Yes I could have ignored her as she glared at me but i I said bye. Unbelievable! How do you mistake bye for bitch? Then the manager said and did nothing. This who tells customers to fuck off is miserable.. Due to this horrible customer experience and no one saying anything t o me I left. Then to top it off feeling like she was embarrassed and turn it on me she asked another customer to walk herself out, like I'm going to do anything. Total attention grabber. The tech totally chopped my hair! This was my first time here. I had been contemplating getting it cut for several weeks and finally went in. It was the older woman with glasses (I didn't get her name)...says she's been doing this for 30 years. She was complaining about all the school kids coming in..kinda grouchy. It was the end of their shift, as I was the last client to leave. I had hair past my shoulders. I have fine hair, and I told her I wanted a bob, with the hair starting at the top of my shirt in the back and coming front, right between my shoulders and the bottoms of my ears. I even showed her a similiar picture. She did the first cut in the back, and I felt it right at the bottom of my skull (like where a man would get his cut!) I didn't know what to do, because, how are you going to fix that?!?! Now my hair is touching the bottom of my ears. Not even CLOSE to the length I wanted. I even said beforehand that I'd rather have it a bit long and ask for a little more to be cut off. I hate confrontation... I didn't know what to do....I paid and left. I cried on the way home. I cried when I got home and showed my husband. I cried in the middle of the night when I woke up! The other techs may be ok here. I did listen to them talk to their clients as I waited and heard one give their client their opinion of how the picture she showed wouldn't work for her hair type, and suggested a different length. She left with a smile saying she loved it! I will NEVER go in and have this person touch my hair again. I will patiently wait for it to grow out and figure out how to style it. Love this location and the stylists here. Before I came in today I made sure to check in online. I got the tip from a friend that said online check ins get first priority over the waiting list. Once I arrived I was immediately seated and the stylist (my personal favorite caitlyn) was very descriptive and thorough on letting me know what she would be doing to my hair after I briefly told her what I wanted it to look like. I will definetly be coming back and would recommend this location to my friends and family (to which some of them already frequent). read more

Never cried over a haircut before until this one. Stylist cut several inches more than what I wanted off of my already short hair. When I told her it was getting a little too short, she started over explaining everything she did and was doing, saying she does this for people who act like she doesn't know what she's doing. Besides being several inches too short and extremely unflattering, it's extremely uneven and choppy. One side is noticeably longer than the other, and it's choppy all around. The whole cut took over an hour, even though I didn't have much hair to begin with, while the other stylist had time to go through at least three people. Two stars instead of one only because everyone there is generally friendly and check in/out was fast. The previous times I got my hair cut here, I loved it. I went in for a haircut on Monday 11/8/2021. The older woman working started asking for my personal information, I told she didn't need it for a haircut and she told me she does, as it's a state law. I told her she was wrong and she argued with me that she did need it. I knew I was right, but just to make sure, I emailed the barber/hairdresser board, and this is the reply I received, "There is no requirement, whether laws or rules to provide personal information to a cosmetology practitioner." I went to another salon and told the hairdresser who was cutting my hair, what I had been told and she laughed! So I guess Great Clips business is so bad that they have to use "intimidation tactics" to get customers info for their mailings! To stand there and argue with me is completely unprofessional and just plain stupid! Shame on you Great Clips, you have lost yet another customer! I'll be honest and I used to have an "opinion" on how these chains cut Woman's hair. Fine for Men but not for woman. But after paying $70 for a basic hair cut at a nearby salon, I knew that is overpriced for a haircut. Desperate for haircut and not looking forward to the price, scheduling an appointment, I jumped in here. I thought well if it's bad I'll just wear it up. Went in to get the boys'cuts. They completely butchered their hair. I showed a photo of what I wanted and my son's hair was already looking almost like the photo, but they chopped off a whole lot more then what I asked for and it was not at all evenly cut! Had to go home and try to fix it. There are a lot of better places around to get cuts. Try the barbers or HD hair studio for inexpensive cuts with much better results. read more

I went here for my birthday. I won't be going back. We were stopping at the Albertsons for some dinner supplies after a day trip. I asked my husband if I could get a haircut while he and my daughters went to the store. I figured it would be nice, since my husband uses this Great Clips. I use a different location. Where to start -- the stylist was apparently new. First, she had to have me repeat my cutting instructions four times. Then she stabbed me in the neck with her really long fake nails. Then, when she was done cutting, she said, "I don't know if I did this right, so you check." What?!? After my haircut was completed, I had to sit and wait on my husband (he was paying for it for my birthday), during which time I was subjected to bickering by the staff on stock issues and more. Very unprofessional environment. I think I'll just continue using the other location. I certainly won't be returning to this location. read more
