Review is based off of haircuts for my Dad and Aunt on a recent vacation. This Great Clips is located on the West End of PCB in the Publix Shopping Center. We went online to sign in and was quoted a 70 minute wait, so we arrived about 45 minutes later. They were able to get both my Dad and Aunt in and completed in the following 20 minutes. The cuts of both were decent, neither had major complaints but neither were exactly what they were after. The stylist seemed to be in a rush due to business levels. Overall, the cuts were fine, service was friendly and wait time was less than expected. read more

Don't expect a military discount nor a good hair cut. You can also expect a little "attitude" thrown in. Seems like an undeserved nice tip would curve the attitude ! Nope! I won't be back! read more

If there was a zero, I would give it a zero. I went in today and told her I wanted an inch off and and trim up the layers. My hair is so short now it's up above my ears it was down past my shoulder. She cut so much off I left there crying. I specifically told her I don't want it short I barely have any hair left it's awful read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ask for a simple trim just below my shoulders. I also stated I did not want my layers cut AT ALL because I was trying to grow them out. I have glasses and cannot see when they are taken off but I took them off so it would be easier to cut my hair and move around without them constantly in the way. When I put them back on. Not only had she given me the WORST haircut of my life, but it was not even close to what I asked for. She also cut all of my layers and now it looks like I have a bob with the bottom of my hair completely long. I will never go here again, and it will take months to fix and grow out my hair. I am so embarrassed and have cried over this multiple times. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE OR BY RACHEL. read more

Don't get Debbie to cut your hair unless you want your bangs messed up beyond belief. It will take a good while to grow out to where they look normal again. read more

Great Clips? More like great job at butchering my hair. I dont have even know the name of my hairdresse, however every time I get my hair cut by her it looks awful. I try so hard and pray i dont get her every time i go in there. She is a nice lady but has no clue what she is doing. I asked her for a fade and she said "We'll figure it out and I hope I can so I dont get in trouble." I shouldve just asked if there was someone else there that could do one. i was the only one there so thats my fault. However what kind of cosmotologist (if you could even call her that) doesn know how to do a fade. I am now on my way to a barber to see if the damage can be undone in anyway. read more

For the past 4 years I've been using Great clips because of a great hair stylist that works there, or should I say did work there up until yesterday. This company ought to be ashamed of themselves for firing a single grandmother that busts her ass day in and day out and make your customers happy, she's struggling to raise it a 3-year-old her daughter that passed away a year ago. Her so-called termination, if you can call it that was videotaped and believe me you stirred up a hornets nest. When she asked why she was being let go the only answer the lady could give her was that cuz he was complaining about her schedule. Well damn right. I'd complain about my schedule too if you had a seasoned stylist being cut down to two days a week, and brand new hires. Trying to pick up hours. That location was closed several times early and she volunteered to stay and work late just so they wouldn't have to close and they said that's ok. She then reported that to upper management and I believe they didn't like that. But she has every right as an employee to voice her opinion. Last I checked this is the United States of America and we have freedom of speech and when someone feels like they're being done wrong and to speak up about it, get fired?? Omg. This was at the Oceanside Publix on the west end of Panama City Beach, somebody just might want to look into this cuz it's not right. No way form or shape.. read more

Always friendly and good hair cuts. Best to check in online.

Don't bother!!! I walked in there asking about a haircut and an employee walked over to attend to me. She asked me if I had already checked in online. I didn't know anything about having to do so. Made it sound like a cheap place that may yield shoddy results. She was annoyed that I didn't know that this was how they did business. Feeling her annoyance I thought twice and didn't return. They don't seem very professional nor do they seem to care what their customers think. So probably not a good place to expect a decent haircut. read more

Longest wait ever!! If it says your wait will be 60 minutes expect to wait at least 75 minutes to an hour and a half. No urgency to move things along quickly. Expect to spend half your day at Great Clips if you come here. Not how we wanted to spend our vacation, but after waiting over an hour, you don't want to leave. Just check in online and know you'll still wait when you get here. read more

My husband was waiting over 45 minutes to get a haircut while he watched multiple others go before him when they arrived after him. Unacceptable and horrible service. He came here because of the good reviews, but when he went, he found himself waiting, no one paying him a mind, just rude. Unacceptable. Will NOT be coming here again. read more

I have had my hair done here many times as I visit my daughter here in Panama City Beach every 3 months or so. It has been pleasant until today. May 17th. I had a girl named Patti that was so RUDE ::: first the phone rang while she was washing my hair, she cut the water off and yelled to the other employees:: is anyone going to get the phone. She proceeded with my hair and I asked her if she could wash it one more time as I have very thick hair. She put some shampoo in her hand and slapped it on the top of my head and scrubbed the top only REAL HARD FOR ABOUT 5 seconds. She started to rinse it out and I raised my head a tiny bit so she could get the soap out of the back of my hair and she got her WET FINGER TIP AND PUSHED MY HEAD DOWN. She rinsed and said I am done. Put a towel on my head and I walked to her chair holding my dripping hair. She would not answer when I tried to talk to her. JUST FREAKING RUDE. DO NOT GO TO PATTI I HAVE ALWAYS PAID NO MORE THAN 30.00 dollars. She charged me 64.00. NEVER NEVER WILL I HAVE HER TOUCH MY HAIR. read more

I have been going to Great Clips for a while now. I am very happy each time I leave. Very nice people who work there.

I have been going here since it opened, great place, fast, good price, highly recommend.

I received a great haircut from Robin today. She cut my hair exactly as I requested. She honored my coupon from the 2019 Calendar, as the person sweeping the floor riled up the other stylists that my coupon shouldn't be honored. Thank you Robin for being so gracious. read more

On November 24th my family came into Great Clips for haircuts. We were vacationing from the North Atlanta area and we saw that they had a $3.99 Grand Opening Special. Having long straight blond hair I was very skeptical that they would know how to give me a good haircut. I have gone to some of the best hair salons in Atlanta and paid top dollar and didn't feel like they understood what I wanted, and walked away unhappy. However Amy at Great Clips listened to me and spent time giving me a Fantastic Haircut. I would definitely recommend Amy! I love my haircut and would even consider vacationing at Panama City Beach again so she can cut my hair. Tina cut my husband's hair and he was happy and Tessa spent a lot of effort giving my teenage son a perfect haircut and he was happy. read more
