I just moved to Coal City. Since the quarantine started this March, I stopped straightening my hair…read moreand started embracing my natural waves/curls--I run between a 2b to a 3a in texture. I hadn't had my hair cut since 10/2019 and was way overdue. I messaged the salon on FB looking to schedule an apt, and she was able to get me in right away, for which I was grateful. The salon maintained social distancing requirements, and the stylist wore a mask the entire time. My stylist appeared very knowledgeable about curly hair and was able to give me some good feedback about products and styling. The stylist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) told me that due to the amount of damage to my hair, she was going to have to take off 3-4 inches in length. My hair doesn't grow very quickly so I was very reluctant but eventually agreed to it for the sake of hair health. It was sort of traumatic and after I saw all the hair on the floor, I almost cried! But my hair is so much healthier and I am getting really good curls now, so it was worth it! Will definitely return!

They were very nice people, but I've gotten better, more attractive color from a $10 box at Walgreens. And, heck, everybody makes mistakes, but even when I said it was too dark, daughter assured me that it will dry MUCH lighter. It didn't. Then the mother did that salon thing where other stylist tell you how good it looks, hoping you believe them instead of your own eyes. I went to my car and cried. I went home and tried to fix it. No luck. In fact the picture I have posted of the "after salon look" is brighter in the picture then it looks in person. In person it looks like a dull grey/green. The color I walked in with was closer to the color I wanted then what I walked out with and I was $125.00 poorer. Once again, very nice people but they knew it was a bad color, they should have just said sorry and fixed it. But instead, to add insult to injury, they tried to schmooze me into believing muddy grey/green is attractive. I will never go there again. Money wasted!

My hair turned out gorgeous and she was able to get it done in 1 1/2 hours, which isn't bad at all! In total I paid $300 and the extensions were included! This is a bargain because while doing my research other beautician's prices were running $650+. My hair is beautiful and the links aren't too tight. I'm so excited I found someone who could do this style for a decent price and still ensure great quality. However, I think the best part is that her salon is located only 30 minutes from my house! It saved me some toll money and a trip to Chicago. I'm know I will definitely be back!!!

I just received my first sew in here this evening. I absolutely LOVE my hair!!…read more Let me start off by saying I'm a newbie to the extensions/weave world. I called Friday to ask questions to find out what I needed to purchase and what was involved in the process. When I called, they were very professional and friendly and told me what I needed. I even talked to a stylist who recommended a place for me to purchase my hair and what type of hair to purchase. I was even told that if I had any more questions, to please call back. I went to the place they recommended for the purchase of my hair. So now fast forward to Saturday. I arrived at The WeaveLuxe Bar at 4 p.m I was getting ready to read my book while I waited for my turn. Within 5 minutes or less I was told that they were ready to braid my hair. Cool! The braiding process didn't take long at all. From the braiding chair I went to the stylist chair. The stylist (Britney) sewed my weave in. It didn't take long at all. When Britney was done, we discussed the cut and she started cutting and curled my hair. I LOVE my hair. She was done with my hair by 6:45 p.m. The atmosphere was good, good music, TV was on and the conversations in the shop were funny! I LOVE my hair. I can't say that enough. I will definitely be back here!
