Wednesday July 22- What a very customer friendly salon, from being greeted as soon as I walked through the front door until I checked out to leave my experience was 5 out of 5 stars!!!. All the ladies were very friendly and Nicole cut my hair exactly as I had hoped. read more

Always friendly. Busy but waiting isn't always too long. My only complaint is the stylists always let or blow hair down my back so I have to inch the rest of the day. There's only one that works to clip it off my neck not down read more

Amanda was super friendly and gave a great hair cut. Checking in online was convenient and easy.

Heather did an AMAZING job on my hair today. I told/showed her what I wanted and she executed perfectly! I love my hair and feel pretty and cute again! Thank you Heather!! Will be back for sure for a touch up! read more

Great Clips - Hair Salons Near Me - Morehead City, North Carolina

The worst haircut I have ever had - I think by Julie. She said she has been cutting hair for 20 years and cut hair for the military for a long time. The cut was horrible read more

Went to Great Clips last week to cash in on a coupon for a cheap haircut. In the past I stayed away from franchises or "chain" business; I guess I had a prejudice against them. I got a couple of terrible haircuts from "chains" and wrote them all off forever. I have fine, STRAIGHT hair which makes cutting it a challenge, even for an experienced stylist. It doesn't help that I am very picky about my hair. Erin did a fantastic job with my hair. I explained what I had in mind and she suggested that I leave a little more length. My hair looks great and her suggestion about the length was right on. All the dead ends are gone. My hair looks healthier and has more body than it has in quite awhile. I would definitely recommend Erin; she was very professional and gave me a very sleek, professional hairstyle that suits my hair type. I will definitely be returning. And, even without the coupon, the savings each time I go is a bonus. Thank you Erin! Terri Surdousky read more

Great people! Kind and understanding. I always have a good hair treatment and cut. I even take my relatives! They love it too.

I have been using Great Clips for over a year. Had various people cut my hair they and they have uniformly done a great job. BTW, the hours on this site are incorrect. M-F hours are 8-9 PM S hours 8-6 SUN hours 9-5 This is from their website. read more

I showed the hair stylist the photo that I wanted my hair and told her that I wanted it to my shoulders. She wet it down with leave in conditioner, divided into layers and pulled it straight to cut it. When it dried completely it was about 2-3 inches above my shoulders and looked too straight and too boxy. No style! And didn't look anything like the photo. She didn't even take the paper off from around my neck when she was done. I won't be going back!!! read more

I usually go to the Great Clips in New Bern but stopped by this one today for convenience... at this location I got poor customer service and the most rushed haircut I've ever experienced. The stylist seemed bothered that I was taking up her time. She didn't even give me the haircut I asked for. Next time I'll make sure to keep driving to New Bern. Take my advice and do the same. read more

Even there was a star lower than 1 I would have given it. I check in online and then had Brittany to do my hair cut. I was very specific in that I wanted no layers in it. When she was cutting it it appeared she was putting layers in it. When, I objected she smartly told me was not taking any length off...She lied..The cut is nowhere near what I asked for and she did not seem to mind. So disappointed and furious....I guess this place is for men haircuts. I would not recommend any female go here to get a haircut, unless you really do not care what they do! read more

I'm on my way to vacationing at a beach in NC and I have "bozo" hair. Not good for a bald guy! Been way too busy to give myself a haircut at home. It was recommended to go to Great Clips. So, I pull over and enter. I was impressed from the moment I entered until I left the place. Immediately, you're greeted. The place was clean with seats actually available to sit. My haircutter was Candace. She was phenomenal! As a Deaf person, I gestured what I wanted and she was able to gesture back with clarification. Not only did she take care of my hair but also my mustache. Overall, it was the best haircut experience ever! Then, I checked the website. Even more impressive! You can sign in before you leave the house. Plus, an waiting estimate is given. Awesome! I'm even thrilled that Great Clips isn't limited to North Carolina. I'm definitely recommending Great Clips to friends! read more

When I sign in online, I am always taken care of, with in a few cuts, some people walk in before I get there, so that should be expected. The staff is friendly, asks questions, and is pleasant. Seating is limited, but that is a space issue. They will call a name 3 times, and remove your name from the list, which is fair. read more

I went here sometime last week. I showed the woman a picture of a simple almost "bob" looking cut. She says ok no problem! An this womans cut my hair before an it was good. Well she proceeds to start cutting. Telling me before she cuts the back that it'll take off 6 in. She asked if i was sure? I said yes! Well she continues on an everything was fine, we chatted about this an that, an the virus an how much we're over it, etc etc...she gets done an shows me the back, I tell her a little shorter an "choppy" she says ok. When she's done she blows it a little an im done. I feel it an feels great an looks...ok...(it was still kinda damp, where she sprayed it) well needless to say.....She messed mt hair up! Its NOTHING like the simple pic I showed her an im p***** about it!!! Idk if I can go back or send people their way anymore. read more

Okay for military cuts (like everyone around here) but if you are a gal and don't want to look like a Marine or don't have simple straight un-styled hair SKIP IT. If you actually want a styled haircut and you are female drive another 10 minutes to Salon Graffiti in Havelock. I have tried Angi there and she's EXCELLENT especially for this area--believe me! read more

I had logged in online and arrived at Great Clips. When I looked around I recognized just one beautician and asked if she could cut my hair. I gave up my spot. When this gal was done, she took someone else. When I asked why, I was informed that I was now "way down on the list." Well, I didn't get my hair cut and am looking for someone closer to home. Not a good way to treat a good customer! read more

Got a great haircut in Morehead City yesterday from Brittany at Great Clips. Thanks Brittany !!!

Really disappointed in my haircut here.. got the conditioning treatment that went fairly well and I enjoyed that but my hair is horrific. I'm having it fixed tomorrow. They did well on very short hair and men but don't come here if you're looking for a decent haircut for longer hair. On top of it, they won't give a refund, just come back in. I don't want anyone touching my hair after someone there had jacked it up already. read more

I went to Great Clips to have my hair shampooed and blown dry. My hair is very curly and is difficult to straighten. Nicole did an excellent job and my hair looked great when she finished. I would certainly go back to her and to Great Clips anytime I am in the area. read more
