I texted her the day before and told her I wanted a shampoo and Style (halo braid), she said okay...$40. When I arrived she tried to charge me an extra $15 to wash my hair. I asked her why and she said because I was natural...??? that didn't make any since, being that this is a NATURAL HAIR SALON and I specified I wanted a shampoo with my service in the text. While she was brushing out my hair I told her I had a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. She says with a nasty attitude, "FYI, I need a picture in advance so I'll know what to do. Otherwise I'm just gonna do what I think a Halo braid should be." First off, as the stylist, you are going to MY hair the way I want it done because I'M paying you. Secondly, this was my first time here, so I didn't know she needed pictures in advance. She should have mentioned that to me in the text. Then the rest of the time I was there she was talking in an inappropriate manner that made me feel uncomfortable. And after all of that she still didn't do my hair the way I wanted it done. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...never going back.

She also put this magnifying glass attached to a computer looking thing and walked me through the problems with my personal hair. She did not make general recommendations, she made personalized recommendations. From the door to the chair they truly make you feel like family and they know what they are talking about when it comes to hair. I already scheduled my appt for next week!
