Well.... This is where I normally go get my hair cut because who can beat the prices . Right . But the past few times I've been my hair has always been almost a hack job or nothing that I said I wanted . They seem to get rushy when other people start to come in . Even took my daughter to get her bangs trimmed and I hate to say it looked like she almost had a mullet till her hair started to grow back . The staff is nice the few times I've been . The worst haircut that I have ever had. Cut way too short . Not remotely like the pic I showed her. My last trip to this business.

Went in today as a last-minute thing so my son could have his first haircut ever. There was no wait and we were greeted immediately. The stylist was nice and did a great job with our 1 1/2 year old. She gave us a little envelope with a lock of his hair and a card about his first haircut. I didn't know Great Clips did that so I was pleasantly surprised. She also cut my husband's and my hair and did a great job. I would probably only go back to see her specifically, though. I wasn't sure about the other girl who was there working. She seemed kind of angry or something. This location is great, I hope London can keep it in business. I mean, you can get your hair done then go shopping for groceries or clothes - a fun family outing for us. read more

My daughter was brought home to me after getting her haircut there and it was awful. It's like the person who cut my hair doesn't even care about her job. I really hope the lady was blind who was cutting because that is the only way to explain how uneven the haircut is. read more

I presented two pictures from their portfolio. I then explained that I have cowlicks in my crown and neckline--therefore I did not want a drastic cut! The pictures were here highlighting a long feathering on the sides and bangs to the eyebrows. I came home with hair that cannot be curled with any size curling iron and my scalp literally showing. I am 71 years old and have never had a haircut this embarrassing and devastating to me. I will NEVER go back there!!! read more

So the old salon I used changed ownership and now it's a super cut. I felt I should give it a chance since it was always a great place to go. Always felt comfortable. At the new salon I did not feel welcomed. The stylists were standing at the desk and literally walked away when I walked up. So whether they just didn't like the way I looked or it was an attitude problem, I'll never know because I'm not going back. So I get to the chair and show my stylist a picture of how I want my hair cut and she says, "really, that short?" ... YES, that's what I want....She did not give me the hair cut I wanted, she made it longer after I specifically said I want it short. I just walked away bummed. I had to go home and wash and restyle before even I started to like it. I expected more from a professional stylist that has been practicing for so long. Bummer. read more

Horrible absolutely horrible place. I took my daughter there today and the stylist choose to tell me that my daughter had lice when any normal human being could easily look at her head and say she had dandruff in her part from a previous sunburn then proceeded to tell me that I needed to treat her hair. Stylist should know the difference between lice and dandruff. Makes me wonder if she tells everyone that has dandruff that they have lice. Being a nurse myself i know what lice looks like so why she felt the need to ignore me telling her that it wasn't is beyond me. I hope she goes home happy tonight knowing that she embarrassed a eight year old little girl for no reason whatsoever. Great clips needs to train their staff better and teach them customer service and manners. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. Absolutely disgusting. read more

Horrible experience! My 8 year old niece went there for her first "salon" haircut and style. Very rude and ignorant stylist embarrassed this poor child, during what should have been a great first experience for her, in front of a waiting room full of people. I was completely appalled by they're lack of knowledge and professionalism. The stylist told her and her mother, in front of everyone, that she could not touch her hair because she had nits and recommended she treat her hair with a medicated shampoo. As a nurse, who has had the unfortune, if treated multiple patients over many years with lice and nits, I immediately inspected her hair to find not only no lice, but no nits. This person not only diagnosed a child, but recommended a medication to a child that didn't need it. I do not think that it is in a stylist scope to diagnose, nor recommend medication. I think it shows poorly on the salon that they do not educate there staff, but that they could embarrass a child in that manner. Shame on you!!! read more
