Had no idea this was here 5 years, just discovered it. Parked directly in front, was greeted warmly but immediately asked if I'd signed in online, which made me quickly feel at the bottom of a list cuz I hadn't. They didn't have my phone # in the system though I've been to another Great Clips, she wouldn't acknowledge the one in Highland City existed, saying they weren't "related" to their store. I guess all Great Clips don't recognize all in their brand. I was placed on the wait list that faces the waiting people saying "25 minute wait" (But no clock in the room.) Guy was in the chair and two signed in online before arriving. The 2 hair cutters were doing a great job of listening and honoring what the 2 guys in the chairs wanted. Both looked great and seemed happy with their cuts, a military cut and a basic square-up trim. This place only cuts - no coloring. Dry haircut is $19 or $17 for seniors. Adding shampoo is $6 (they didn't ask if I wanted one). I got seated in the chair in about 15 minutes due to a no-show who signed in online. Chair was comfortable, Haley was a great listener and didn't mind adjusting to further trims or bossing you to tilt your head, etc (LOL). I appreciated her swiftness. (The other girl was more chatty and took longer with her client.) Haley was not talkative but gave hair opinions, kept up with entering clients, offered a shampoo idea for hair strengthening and had $4 sample tea tree oils on the counter (travel size). Decent bathroom on premises. She did fine with my first haircut no blow dry included, and I will try them again. I need someone who highlights though and will hate having to go to two places--So hair cut cost at a salon that also highlights will make the decision for me. Have to go more than once before offering more stars. Some of the early conversation was awkward, not finding my existing number, concerns about sign up, not knowing to ask for shampoo as an add-on, don't beat out a short wait, a great price and decent cut. I do recommend this spot. read more
