(And by the way - it's only a 40-minute straight shot down 40 to 540 with no parking fees when you get there.) I first met Lindsay in Chapel Hill where I sought her out based on her Yelp reviews there. She is awesome. She's young, great to talk to and very professional. She also cuts a mean head of hair! I had decided to go with my natural curls after years of straight ironing, round brushing, etc. Lindsay was enthusiastic and supportive. She is comfortable working with any type of hair. She's great at translating my vague, fuzzy descriptions of what's in my head into exactly what I had in mind. She's also great at listening carefully to when I know exactly what I want done ("Cut the bangs at THIS angle") and doing it. When I bring in a picture, she can tell me how close I can get to it given my specific hair. She's very particular about the products she uses, and my dyed hair is soft and shiny. It's also cut to perfection and I feel chic and confident. In short, I can't say enough about this talented young woman. Her prices are very reasonable, and she's always a delight to be around. I look forward to each appointment! The Hair Junction has been around for a long time, and it wasn't designed for hipsters. It's a fun place to hang out, and as real as the local post office. If you don't get Lindsay at the Hair Junction number, you can always reach her at 919-426-1293. Tell her I said hi!

After much reassurance they would not be used she used them anyway with the Biolage products. The next day my hair was falling out at the roots. The manager Maddy of the Knightdale, NC location made it very clear that they do not have products without sulfates or silicones. The quality of service and staff leaves much to be desired. Having to pay a $50 non refundable deposit before you walk in the door is questionable. If you value healthy curls this salon is not recommended. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! I also had a facial (another new!) using clay, natural oils, and witch hazel. I loved it. Talk about pampering. Thanks so much Almetris! It was wonderful.
