Great staff. Good haircuts at a normal price. If you don't check in online early on the weekends you'll probably wait awhile. If you are a walk in customer expect to wait a LONG time for services. Plan on a LONG wait time. People who reserved online seem to get preferential treatment. I tried to reserve online but couldn't do so I drove down there. I waited in the sitting area as more and more people came in after me. A number of people came in long after I arrived were served before me. The place needs to fix any issues in their online reservation system. read more

The location is great for soldiers that are on the base and want a cheap haircut but they definitely have some kinda of preferable treatment towards most likely regulars due to the fact that despite checking in online, 3 people who have walked in who didn't check in online were serviced before my fiancé and he checked in over 20 minutes ago. I actually debated posting the review or not due to some data issues, but now that over 7 people have been seen before him I am angry. What kind of place plays favoritism over hair? Do I need to flash his active duty card for you to want to get him in faster for a better chance of getting a tip? read more

The woman was scolding my 3yo child and making him cry so we ended up leaving and she made a snarky remark about trying again as we were leaving. She was talking to him as if he were a grown man about not touching his face mask. I get that it's a requirement right now but she could have asked me to try to have him stop touching it instead of making him cry with her rude tone of voice and wording. read more

I received a haircut from them on May 9th, 2015. I asked for a classic Caesar cut with a hard line part cut into the side. The hairdresser who cut my hair seemed inconvenienced and rushed, despite complaining how it wasn't very busy today meaning it would be very busy tomorrow. She finished my haircut in less than 20 minutes. The edges around my ears were not rounded at all, I had many spots of uneven length on the sides and my bangs created a "v" shape in the middle. To top it off I had one spot she didn't even cut with a length of hair so long it touched my eyebrows while the rest was much shorter. I returned after this closer examination to receive a refund, only to find that the hairdresser who cut my hair was a MANAGER named Amanda. Michelle was the only one who apologized to me, and admitted that my hair was messed up. When the manager Amanda graced me with her presence she did not apologize only said "Do you want me to fix it or do you just want your money back" THEN SHE TRIED TO KEEP THE TIP I GAVE HER! I've never encountered such unprofessional behavior and usually I can just chalk it up to one bad stylist but obviously if she is a manager this place has more problems than what is worth even trying to dodge. Save your money and go to headlines, Sue's or many other reputable establishments that do practice customer service and do not allow laziness and shoddy work to leave the shop. read more

We've been on the lookout for a place since Walmart screwed up my sons hair for the last time. He's 15 and wants to look good on a consistent basis so we tried this place out. He was thrilled because it's honestly one of the best haircuts he has had. It was faded nicely, they edged a little part in it so he looks pretty cute if I do say so. He was so happy with it and they took notes for his profile so when he comes back they will be able to recreate the look. I also got a trim and she did a good job. This place is nothing really fancy. They don't offer eyebrow waxing but they got us in and out of there, and did a super job on my kid's hair and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. We will be back. 1 star docked because of no wax! read more

I got my hair cut in October by Cheryl (her name appears here a bit for her poor work, I see). I wanted it cut short around my ears, a new look for me. She cut it the way she wanted without having listened to me, I guess. So when she asked, I said no, I didn't like it. I asked for it short around the ears. She then cut the hair around my ears but took a huge chunk out of it behind my left ear. It was practically shaved off, but just in one spot and done with scissors. After I got home and washed it myself (I told her not to put products in it, but she did before I could stop her and by then I was so angry I didn't dare stay longer) I found the hair in the back of the ear on the left was nearly cut to the scalp while behind the right ear it was about 1/2-1 inch long. I went back the next day (Cheryl wasn't there, thank God) and had it fixed as much as possible, but even so, the right hair is still longer than the left. I'm going back today for a trim and will be very particular because now I don't trust them, but want to give someone else a chance. The best thing about this is that because I went back for a free fix, the owners sent me a $5.99 haircut coupon. From now on I won't tip until 24-48 hours after the cut. I'll get the name of the hair stylist and let them know that after I've had a chance to run my fingers through it while washing it and see how it looks in the real world, I'll come back with their tip, read more

I understand that getting a haircut around a military base on a weekend could be cause for a wait. Plenty of military guys wait till the weekend to do just that. But when I have the app on my phone and I sign in and the time says two hours and in reality it is 4 hours before I get in the chair that is ridiculous. If signing in doesn't give me a bit of a jump on people that just walk in on he street then what really is the use of it at all? I arrived 19 minutes early after waiting almost four hours for what I was told would be a two hour wait time by the app and seen people just rolling in to get into a chair. Please tell me how the app is beneficial and how signing in helps me if I am quoted at a two hour wait and it keeps changing and eventually ends up being a four hour wait? Never again! I go here once a week for a hair cut. They know how to do a medium fade unlike AAFES. The online check in is awesome! Check in from home, drive in, wall in and sit down. Haircuts are no longer an all day event. They are consistent with the haircuts and leave notes on your account to maintain the same level of service. Absolutely horrible experience on July 21, 2016 with stylist Cheryl. I will NEVER return!!! After checking in online, with a quoted wait time of 10 minutes, I went to the store about 15 minutes later. I ended up having to wait an additional 45 minutes for my haircut. When I was finally called up, I was in the chair maybe 5 minutes. She literally didn't even finish cutting my hair. She buzzed the sides and that was it. I thought she was joking when she said she was done. No trimming of the top, no fading finished, no trim around the ears, no sideburns, no bangs, no cleanup of the neck, nothing. read more

I took my daughter in to get her hair done at Great Clips and checked in online. We arrived at Great Clips and waited for out turn. Out turn comes up and she asks what she can do for us and my daughter said flatiron and a haircut. Then she and the manager replied we don't have time to flatiron today because of the amount of people today. We can do the haircut today but not the flatiron. We can schedule an appointment for that on another day we aren't so busy. I said we will just take the haircut. So my daughter sat in the chair for the haircut. Came back to me in about 5-10 mins. I paid and was walking out to the car and looked at my daughter hair as I was asking about her haircut experience and noticed she did a SHITTY job. If she didn't know how to cut my daughters hair she should of asked for help. I have never see a hair dresser never comb someone's hair before a haircut. All she did was pull out some of the extra long stings and chop them off. The manager did offer to take my daughter in the back to fix it but if you are cutting someone's hair at the station right next to the manger and she allowed my daughter to walk by her and she didn't say or point out any issues with her performance instead of it being a teaching experience for her. I took my son here yesterday because I have been here myself 3 times and got an okay haircut. First when we arrived there was 4 workers all up front by the cashier, not one smiled or said hello. (One of them was the stylist that cuts my hair every 3 weeks! No smile no hello. As if she didnt know me ) My son got called 2 minutes later. The stylists he got asked what he wanted, he explained to her as I stood next to them. He asked for thin pointy side burns and even asked her if she knew how or if she wanted to see a picture. She said no and proceeded. Each time he asked her a question she would say "what". She ended up cutting a lot more than what he asked for and the side burns were so crooked and not what he asked for.
