Walked right in and got my son's hair cut. I liked what she did and it was only $20 plus tip.

Son asked for a bald fade. The tech asked if he wanted to be left at a certain length and my son said no bald so instead of the tech making sure he had a cLear understanding of what he was being done. He shaved my son's hair completely off it was not faded at all as a technician. You should know what a ball fade is when you're doing haircuts the style they gave my son I could've did at home and they charged him $20 I asked the tech for clarification.and he said my son did ask for a ball fade so you don't know what a ball fade is then because you shaved him completely bald never taking my kids back read more

I just paid $36 for 5 minutes of service. Stylist nails were so long she couldn't properly wash my hair. She barely touched it. She volunteered that she only washes her hair every 2 weeks yuck. I specifically asked for a razor cut which she didn't tell me she couldn't do until she started cutting with sissors. Had to ask her to cut sideburns and sides after she thought she was finished. She barely cut any hair at all. She cut bangs straight across instead of jagged as requested. She sprayed my wet hair instead of using product to make it look piecy. read more

Staff were nice. I don't know if the person cutting my hair didn't hear me correctly, but I asked for armpit length and he gave me shoulder length. Ok. So I've been bringing my son here for a while and everyone is always so nice. As of two days ago , if someone is vaccinated, you are not required to wear a mask. This is CDC guidelines. This isn't a rumor .... this isn't me being a bitch. These are facts. When I walked in I was told I had to wear a mask. Ok. That's fine. I replied I'm vaccinated. And the response was " it doesn't matter". I have been to Walmart , Costco , target .... among many many other places that did not even ask. So I felt offended. I got vaccinated for a Twain. This great clips is straight up TRASH. I made an appt online, and made sure that they were able to do what I needed.( A wash, cut, and style). I then proceeded to come into the shop, which was disgusting , with hair everywhere. Like they dont clean up after each client. And the stylist then told me that they dont style hair. I asked her why it was on the website if they didn't do those services at all. I drove all the way from fresno to this location. Never been to a chain hair stylist before so I was definitely a bit skeptical. I wasn't expecting much but I really needed a cut and this place was the closest so I went for it. Super friendly staff. I got my cut from Alyssa and she put in the work! Quality cut for sure. I definitely recommend her for a cut. She did a solid job on my mid bald fade comb over. Normally drive to San Jose for a haircut. It is truly funny how easy it is for some and harder for others to cut 10 hairs. Was greeted with a large smile from one of the stylists, and the place was hopping. Unfortunately there was quite the wait, but understandable. The stylist which sat me was a recent graduate and was a bit nervous and slightly unsteady with those scissors, good thing I didn't ask for a shave. Hated it! They did my hair horrible! It's so uneven, choppy and too short! I asked for a curtain bangs and an even hair cut because I had cut my hair at home. They said if I wanted layers, I said just a bit! A LITTLE BIT! The top of my head looks like a bowl cut and the lower half is so short!! I went to Great Clips because I had always gotten great hair cuts for me and my daughter at the one in Tierrasanta, CA. I cannot remember the girls name but she did a bad job on me. All I wanted was a trip and possible thin. I got a lopsided long bob, one side tapered and the other no shape to it. She left a lot of long pieces. Not impressed. She proceeded to do my daughters and she did better, but left a lot of long pieces. On both of she did not check the length of hair..she cut and let us go. I did not realize the extent of how bad it was until my hair was fully dry. I doubt that I would ever go back. read more

I have a crazy four year old boy! I was getting ready to dunk him in the bath at about 7:30pm and realized that he really needed a hair cut. I got on line and check in at the online area for great clips. It took about 30 seconds. It let me know that I had a 18min wait and could simply click cancle if I was not willing to wait. That was it!!! I put the my little dude in the car and we were on our way. We were greated by name because he had a profile set up in their computer. Wasn't sure if that was cool or scary. They were so friendly and very set up for the smaller ones. Kelly cut his hair and was very patient with my little guy. She asked him a lot of kid questions and he loved it. She must have asked me at least 4 or more times if she was cutting according to how I wanted it. When we were done Kelly offered my little guy a sucker and made sure he asked mom first if he could have it. That was very motherly thinking! All in all I could not have been happier unless they came to my house! We were home and he was dunked clean and in the bed by 8:35 pm! read more

We just had a GREAT experience at Great Clips!!! After years of frustration with not being able to really call ahead at Supercuts, a coupon insert in the week's mail alerted me to Great Clips. $7.99 coupon for a haircut? Sure, let's give it a whirl. The ad also mentioned they had an app that allows me to check in. I was a little skeptical at first. Like I mentioned in my Supercuts review, the Supercuts Call Ahead service is useless, but, I downloaded the app and checked my daughter in. It showed me the wait time, so we left and arrived RIGHT at the estimated time thanks to all the stupid lights in Hanford (where can I go on Yelp to review the street lights around here, they get a negative 20... but I'm getting a little sidetracked here). We arrived to see a computer screen, my daughter's name on top with a little symbol next to it that I think was the indicator that she was an app check in. There were 2 names below hers, no little symbol... this made me VERY happy (although, it did occur to me that any douchebag could walk in and see the name on top and claim to be them). She was taken right back by Daniel, who listened to what we were wanting to do and seemed confident that he got what we were going for. I left him to it, and went over to wait. My daughter was VERY happy with her haircut, Daniel was super nice, I could hear them chatting it up and when she was done, she was thrilled with the results. I should mention that my daughter is a picky 15 year old and she was going from very long straight hair to a shorter layered style, so this was quite the transition for her. She is LOVING her new hair style and told me that Daniel was awesome (if you've ever dealt with a teen girl, you know this is high praise). So, we will be getting all our haircuts at Great Clips from here on out. The store is clean, Daniel is amazing, the price is right at a $14 for a haircut ($1 cheaper than Supercuts), $12 for the little kiddos (under 12) or Seniors, the Check In App is a MUST have.
