There is a mother along with her two daughters that work there so that makes you feel like you're at home even more. They have a TV while you wait, or, if that isn't your forte, they will surely strike up a conversation with you. They usually have at least three workers working so you can get in and out in timely manner. In addition, the actual haircut is done in a timely manner, but they also make sure you come out with a clean and professional (or more relaxed haircut, if that's what you're going for) haircut. I'd recommend this place to anyone, whether you have hair that is short, long, or somewhere in between. Oh, they also do beard trimmings, but I cannot speak to how they do with those. The prices are pretty fair, I would say they are about average, but definitely worth paying that for the service and quality of haircut you get.

I heard about this place from one of my co-workers after his girlfriend had started working here…read moreand because I have had my fair share of bad haircuts I was a little reluctant about coming to see her. However I called and made an appointment to see Emily because when you dye your hair as much as I do, it dies quickly. Needless to say I needed to get rid of my dead head (get it, puns are fun!). When I called to make the appointment the guy who answered the phone was super nice and I gave him my info and got set up to go. He was so friendly and made sure I wasn't on the phone for very long so to me that's a great start. So the time comes for me to drive out to St. Matthews and once I arrive and walk in I was immediately greeted by the man at the counter and Emily at the same time. I got to the chair, sat down and we started talking about what I wanted to do with my hair, pulled up a couple of pictures that had the style & cut I wanted. Emily looked at my dead follicles and she didn't bitch at me about messed up my hair was. Once she had her idea it was off to shampooing, then the trimming started. The process was fun, relaxing and I really understood Emily's passion and skill the skill this woman has for her craft. After which she styled my hair and I couldn't stop smiling about my new style. The layout of the building is incredibly modern with open concepts and a private washing room in the back so you don't feel like everyone is watching you get your hair washed. They have private-ish stalls with the dryers in little cubby holes (I didn't get to experience that part but it was a different design than I've sen before). The stations are kind of small but they have storage underneath so don't be worried about your stylist not having what you need, it's there I promise. I loved everything about this experience and I recommend everyone go see the wonderful people here, get an appointment with Emily if you can, however if you can't then all the other ladies and gents will be more than happy to give you the hair you deserve!

We actually came here for the first time today with my youngest daughter who is 15 months old. Was kinda a big deal. It was her first haircut. The place we took our other three daughters for there forts haircut had closed down and this place has a similar setup and did a similar first haircut package with a clipping of the hair and a certificate. So we made an appointment and headed that way. The insudevdecor is very fun. Very colorful and vibrant and welcoming to a little one. Ten chairs are all race cars or princes trucks and have personalized TVs and even some with video game systems like PlayStation or Xbox hooked up. My daughter was placed in the princess truck and you could tell the barber was use to working with babies because she fired up cocomelon on the Netflix and my Daughter was hooked. Playing on her chair car and watching her toons. The barber did a fantastic job and was great with her. She was great herself. She did so good and sat still and the barber didn't have to worry about anything. As mentioned they did give her a little certificate with the barber name and stating first haircut with a clipping baggie of her hair. So that's always a nice keepsake. We will out it with our outer daughters. A little pricey at $16 but it's a special occasion and a cool setup. Not somewhere we will take every time. Just on first haircut and special occasions for fun. Much like we did with the previous place we took our olde three that's now closed. And this place was exactly like that. So we were very satisfied.

Obviously, this was a difficult experience. The young man did a superb job at covering my scar. He was able to cover most of my scar even though it's while large, and he took his time. I would definitely suggest for anyone looking for someone who is passionate and hardworking. I typically wear a wig full time, and I asked for a cut to go under it perfectly. Now, my wig that I wear full time looks better than ever and I'm comfortable at home.
