I went early and was the 1st person there. I am a person who trims and cuts on my own hair then go to get a professional cut as needed. Cara gave me my cut today. She was professional and friendly. She let me direct exactly how I wanted it cut; she patiently followed my directions and requests. She took her time and trimmed every spot as I requested and I left with the cut that I wanted when I went in. I will be glad to have her cut my hair again. Very happy with my experience. read more

61 years old had the worst hair massacre in my life. it honestly looked like a small child with scissors cut into it. i have never had a cut that i actually cried about unitl this one. the manager tried her best to make it presentable, but due to gaps had to cut it even shorter and still looks bad but not as bad. it is so bad she said she would cut it for free two more times in hopes to make it look good again. my hair was my best feature, compliments all the time on my hair, as it has since my 20's looked like farrah fawcett hairstyle. now i look like like a short haired mutt, with gaps as much as 2" in the sides. it will take at least 6 months just to get the layers on top the same length, a year at least to get anywhere near the hair i walked in with. don't let ana touch your hair!!!! read more

So... my kid did not have school today. He is 5. Forgot to give allergy meds. He has allergies. We tried to preregister via app. Would not work. Show up in person. We have masks. My kid coughs. They start the COVID questions. No- he does not have a sore throat, no fever, no we have not been around anyone diagnosed with COVID. He has allergies, and we forgot to take the fluconase nasal spray today- school was canceled for high winds... and our am routine was missed. Asked us to go home and take his allergy meds before they would cut. We live 20 min away... so no that is not an option... Went to Walmart. Got MORE allergy meds. Gave to kid. Return to website. Not taking reservations now. Went to Sports Cuts. My kid coughed. He had his mask on. Stylest had her mask. I had my mask on I told her he had allergies. She cut his hair. I have had the same haircut for six years. I brought a photo, too, so there would be no doubt when talking to whoever was working there that day. The employee--reluctant to call someone this unskilled a stylist--butchered my hair. When I complained, another employee wanted me to pay a second time to have someone else in the salon fix it. Instead, I went to a real salon (for the same price GC charges) where the stylist said the problem areas were too short to fix and she couldn't figure out what the first person had been trying to do; then she showed me pieces that were cut less than one inch long--five inches shorter than they were supposed to be and too short to style. It will take at least six months for my hair to grow enough for the new stylist to blend the short pieces to the correct haircut. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

I have had my hair done by people who charged $100.00 and it be so messed up, so I tried Great Clips . I figured why not get my hair messed up for cheaper right? ok first time I went Anna did my hair beautifully, she asked me how I wanted it and done and did a really good job .. I was pleased. So I go back in to get a trim and I call ahead to make sure Anna was going to be there as I was thrilled to find someone that actually did my hair right and for a great price. Well I couldn't tell much about it until I got home and washed it and was going to style it ... I was horrified!!! She didn't cut my hair even on the ends it's longer in some parts than the rest AND .. she put layers in my hair all over!! I never have asked for layers and didn't get layers the first time I saw her. This is supposed to be in their little computer to record how the customer likes their hair and how the stylist cut it ... do you know how long it will take me to grow my hair back to all one length? YEARS Anna YEARS! I have a thyroid autoimmune disease that makes it super super difficult to grow or even retain my hair. want to know what the cut that is sooooo difficult for hairstylist to achieve? Its a long Bob, no layers just literally cutting the same length all the way around and I part my hair to the side to hide some of the thinning spots my hair has. And for the part all I want it to do is feather back on the parted side and I like to have my hair framed around my face if you can't do that no problem I can wear it completely straight. WHY? WHY? Can't I find any hairstylist to do a simple cut?? I'm so sick at my stomach now my hair is ruined and will take years to grow back out. I do not recommend Great Clips and if you do go don't see Anna she will cut your hair however she wants and to beat it all I gave her a tip that was even more than the actual haircut. I did not realize my hair was so jacked up until I got home as she did not bother to even dry my hair much less style it. read more
