Happy to have found this hair salon and Leonarda a few years ago. She is more than a great hair stylist .....she is a life saver! I've had my hair cut by many talented stylists in Boca Raton and surrounding areas, but always come back to Leonarda. After a particularly bad hair cut a couple of days ago, she corrected the cut and it won't be necessary to wear my hair "up in a clip" for two months while it grows out. Thank you, Leonarda for correcting what I thought couldn't be corrected. I appreciate her talent, patience and LISTENING SKILLS, which are so hard to find in a stylist. Needed a basic cut.....it'll take a while to grow THIS out. I asked for a cut that curved around my head (like a smile curve). What I got was the back cut all the way up to base of my skull, and chopped sections forward. The bangs got cut an inch, AN INCH, above my eyebrows. I can't see without my glasses, and so could not see what she was doing. I told her it was fine, but it isn't....it really isn't. I miss Renee...she used to work there and she was fantastic! I do not need to request a specific stylist because they all care and deliver a great cut. They even cleanup your eyebrows as desired. Their system tracks your last cut and helps give the stylist away to help with current needs. This location offers Online check in. While others feel you are skipping them, it helps to control the lobby and children. It's also great to avoid peak times and when you are rushed. read more

I have been going to great clips for three main reasons. 1. I get a great haircut. 2. The people their have always been friendly, courteous, and vary professional. and 3. this is the best reason, every time I have gotten a haircut, I get compliments on my haircut, even from my girlfriend, AND SHE CAN BE VERY PICKY. Rushed me out, did not offer to dry hair, told me they were closing early because of holiday and 6 people walked in as I was paying with 5 minutes left to "closing". took my mom and sister to this hair salon yesterday for the very first time just to get their curly hair trimmed. i had first walked in by myself to see prices and i had walked in very nicely asking for a booklet or something like it for prices. the guy rudely came over and pointed to the board above our heads and said "the prices are right there." after that i was already skeptical because his look and attitude were just so rude. skip to when i brought my family in, i had checked in with another lady who i don't know the name of but also had an attitude. (i'll also add that when i walked in BOTH times no one greets you saying hello or even smiling, it's just the rude welcome of "did you check in online?") anyways this lady checked us in and so we sat down for about 15-20 minutes because two people were in front of us. no problem at all. my mom finally gets called to go get her haircut and while i'm not going to give full details, my mom is in a wheelchair and her head and hands tend to shake at times, to say the least. i took my mom over to the chair and yet another lady, who actually was the nicest out of the 3, turns to me and says "oh no, is her head going to shake like that the whole time?" to which i stayed quiet because i couldn't believe she really asked me that. and to add on to that, she says "i can't cut her hair if she shakes like that the whole time." at that point, even if she didn't mean it offensively, i had enough of her rude comments. my mom hadn't even sat down in the chairs yet so i don't understand why she was already negative. i said to her "well she's gotten her hair cut before from other salons so it shouldn't be a problem. " she didn't say a word after that, i think she realized what she said was wrong because the conversation after that was her trying to make up for what she said. absolutely not acceptable at all. and to add, now it's the next day and my moms hair is washed and completely uneven on both sides. i had held her head the entire time so that she wasn't shaking for the lady so i know it wasn't my mom. it was this lady's crappy excuse of a haircut in the meantime of all this going on, my sister who's 12 is getting her haircut. i cant really hear anything that's going on but afterwards she came up to me saying that the guy doing her hair(the same man who had an attitude with me before) was complaining the whole time while brushing her hair because she had some knots in it. i was like this is part of his job what is he complaining about. within 2 mins of that, he came over and actually complained to me himself and said "i just want you to know it took me 30 minutes just to comb through her hair, next time she needs to come in with it brushed completely." first of all sir, we were there a total of 30 mins minus the wait time so i know you're exaggerating. second of all, this is your job to brush through and wash and cut so i'm confused with all the complaining. and third of all, there will NEVER EVER be a next time of us coming into this location. thanks for all your service. upon leaving, i did still tip because i'm not an animal and would never not tip someone. but seriously, maybe they had a bad day opening or something but that's no excuse for bad customer service. i work in that field and know exactly how a customer should be treated and even if something went wrong prior to opening, you are supposed to leave that all at the door and treat people with respect. i had the worst service i've ever experienced in my life at this salon and will never spend my money here again. read more

Went there as usual for 5-6 week cut. They've got some new people there (1 in particular, who cut my hair so crooked it was almost 1 inch longer on one side than the other.)
