    First time at the salon and it was a great experience! I came in for a root touch-up and appreciated how efficient the process was-- just 50 minutes total. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I had a consultation with Ro, who was great, and Kiki did a wonderful job washing my hair. While you dry your own hair, the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. I'll definitely back!

    This place has gotten way better since I came last. Way more cheery and happy. Rowan covered my grays and did a wonderful job! The hair wash person (forgot their name ) was also wonderful. I'd absolutely return.

    Wow, I wish I had read these reviews before I made an appointment. I was so excited that I found an ammonia free 10 minute dye salon. I saw this as a pop up on social media. People in the comments shared that the best stylist was Kaylee. So I proceeded to make an online appointment with Kaylee. I drove 35 minutes since this is the closest location to me and I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment. A lady approached the desk and I said I was there for an appointment with Kaylee and she said no you're with me. I was confused I don't like to leave my hair up to chance. I make appointments based on word of mouth referrals, especially when going to a new salon. She said Kaylee is fully booked today. She cannot do your hair. At this point, a man stands up, comes over looks at the computer and rudely says " you're a first time client it shouldn't matter who you work with" I said I don't doubt that the stylist can do hair. However, I made an appointment with Kaylee and I would like for her to do my hair. He said you don't have an appointment with Kaylee. At this point I try to show him my email confirmation and he says it doesn't matter what that shows. You don't have an appointment with her today. At no point did anyone say hello to me or I'm sorry for the miscommunication. I could see Kaylee in the back doing someone's hair. She completely ignored me. I'm frustrated at this point. I had an event to go to that night and not enough time to make an appointment elsewhere so i said if she dyes my hair I'd like a blowout as well. He says we don't have time to do a blowout for you. You can blow dry your own hair. Mind you him and the other stylist had no one to work with and they were both sitting when I was there. They have a self dry bar but they do offer blow dry service as well. I could tell that he just wanted to get me out of the salon at that point so I asked his name? He said my name is Julio the manager. I was astonished!! I said I'm going to go now but you've been incredibly rude and I will be leaving a review for this establishment. They all laughed and he waved me out the door. When I went I went to write my review, I realized they have many negative reviews. I don't know how this place stays in business and I would hope the owner would see what's happening here and correct these issues because it really is a great concept. However, I've never encountered such disrespect and poor customer service in a business. I would start with replacing management and retraining the employees. I will not return and will not recommend colorOnly. What a shame.

    This is right after they colored my hair

    Let me first say that I was a customer at the Coral Spring location for approximately a year. I endured glitches with the color machine , runny color that made my face black. I did not comment as I understood that things could happen ...technology is not perfect. Unfortunately, I cannot stay quiet on the issue I encountered recently. I have black hair and in my hair has grey roots. I went in on 12/27/2025, after I blow dried my hair, I pointed out to the colorist that my roots are not colored they are a shade of light brown. I was told it's lighting at the salon. The salon is closed on Sunday and Monday plus New year holiday, I was not able too book anything u til today(1/7/2026). I explained my issue and Kiki would not take ownership of the issue on behalf of the salon or attempt to see my hair to evaluate the issue. Her response.."it's over 7 days and u can only shoveled appointment and there will be a charge to redo my hair. This is THE WORST customer service. As mentioned, I was tolerant of bad color formulas and runny colors that stain my face but I do not tolerate poor customer service. STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!!!! Poor quality product and worst customer service.

    I tried the first visit which was free ($8) tip only. I made my appointment online the same day, showed up and was welcomed. I know that they are working out the kinks and there was a man with a cute dog. The place is such that it's not relaxing. I know it's "express" but the owner and manager?..a man and lady speak so loud that they are practically screaming. There are no throw rugs and it was like I had a headache by the end. They should try and make it a little mire serene in there,maybe lower their voices. They ruined my experience.

    My Yelp friend Barbara gave me a coupon for this new salon. She said she had gone there and she was happy with the job they did. The coupon was for a free roots coloring at their salon. Count me in. Just looking in the mirror told me that I needed to go. I called and made an appointment for later that day. I was told the coloring would be free. The only charge would be $8.00 instead of tipping. I got to the salon on time. The place was attractive and appeared to be very clean. There were several employees behind the desk. They all wore masks. When I checked in I was treated like a special guest. I was questioned about any problems I have with my hair and what color I like. They showed me swatches of hair to pick out my color. I told them I would like to go a little darker since my color was a little faded. I was told that they use a special color formula that only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to set. The formula is good for your hair and doesn't have a chemical odor. They were right. The next step was washing my hair. Their shampoo smelled wonderful. There are hair dryers if you want to dry your hair or they'll blow dry it for an up charge. I loved the way my hair looked and felt. I'll have to see if the color lasts. They have a membership program which is optional to join. For $30 plus the $8 in leu of gratuity you can come in to have your roots colored once a month. If you want to come in without joining the price is a little more. The salon only does three things. They do Roots coloring, whole head coloring, and blow drying. Everyone there was very nice and enthusiasm. I could tell that they enjoyed being there. I didn't join the club but I'm thinking about it. So far, I'm happy with the way my hair looks and feels. Nobody looked at my coupon and they seemed pleased that I came in. The promotion goes on until 10/31/2020.
