This is an update to my previous (I believe) 4-star review. I had haircuts at this shop every 3 months like clockwork since my first review. Generally speaking, the employees were different each time I was there. I had pretty-good haircuts and so-so haircuts and one EXCELLENT haircut. Too bad that lady is now gone and I don't know who she is or where to find her! HOWEVER...the last time I was in, 2 months ago, there were 2 older ladies working there. I never in my life had to argue with anyone about a $14.00 haircut before. I asked her once to cut it "up, over my ears". I asked her again to cut it "up, over my ears". When she decided she was done and handed me a mirror to see the back, I again asked her to cut it "up, over my ears". Each time I got an argument from her that "it's going to stick out over your glasses, so no I won't cut it over your ears." Now, 2 months later IT'S STICKING OUT OVER MY EARS, BECAUSE SHE REFUSED TO CUT IT THE WAY I ASKED. I'll be visiting a different store from now on...and checking the make sure she isn't there. read more

I've been coming here quite regularly; typically the wait isn't that long, and it definitely helps if you check-in ahead of time. The most recent time that I was in, Katie cut my hair. Best experience at any great clips so far; really liked my haircut, and she also offered to wash my hair for me since I wasn't going back home, which is the first time that any Great Clips hair stylist has ever offered to do so for me. Second horrible experience at this location. Beware of Lisa. She does a horrible job! Send my husband to get a hair cut and he comes home and I have to fix it. Ridiculous! Waste of money and time! He told her while still I. The chair that his hair looked patchy she had all the excuses in the world as to why it looked like that. A child could of cut his hair better! He'd been a long-time customer, we'd just moved back here (to COLORADO!). Our stylist J.was open to all my suggestions, but gave me the best solution for a previous bad cut and it's results. I went in thinking I wanted a complete change. I just want her to know how much I LOVE the uplift on the style I already had. I've been going to this location regularly for 3 years now. It's proximity makes it extremely tempting and I'm not one to let a few insufficient haircuts overshadow a very short drive/wait time. I went here yesterday for a bang trim. All the stylists were with someone when I got there but they still managed to fit me in within 5 minutes. My stylist listened to me, was very friendly, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I can't comment on the quality of full haircuts here, but the staff are very friendly, and they were also quick and accommodating. For a cheap haircut place it was surprisingly nice, and the stylists seem very competent which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. I will probably come back the next time I need a split-end trim and would recommend it to anyone who needs a simple cut or trim. read more

I have been coming to this location for many years. Usually did not have to wait long even though I don't have the on-line check in available on my phone. Probably never had the same stylist twice but I have pretty short hair so not many ways to screw up. I have always been appreciative of the effort and left a generous tip always! The last 2 times I have attempted to stop for a cut, I have been met at the door and told that there were many clients ahead of me and it could be up to a 3 hour wait! Both times I managed a look inside and saw at least 3 employees at the register but NO clients. The last time, I was told in a very condescending way that this was their lunch hour so again I was advised to come back in a few hours. Just out of curiosity, I sat in my car for at least 30 minutes ( I was the only car in the vicinity) and saw not one person come in or out! I was very disappointed at this treatment and will never return or recommend them again!!! read more
