The best gal is Ginger for short haircuts! She gave me a dry cut to follow my natural swirls and lumps. Tapered like a pro too. I now can wash and blow dry and my hair has lift and bounce. Fantastic Ginger! read more

Update to my review during COVID. I continue to visit this salon chain location, primarily due to the affordable, quality haircuts. The app still provides me with the quickest way to check-in, and I know my name is "in line" when I arrive (and by text since I opted in). Ashley, the salon manager, runs the place well, in my opinion. Whenever I go in, plenty of stylists are working and become quickly available. That said, I prefer Ashley's style and will gladly wait until she's available. Michele also gets good marks from my wife. I've noted over the years that the salon hires good stylists but also personable ones. The salon has limited seating but also lollipops for the little ones. This location will be moving soon to the Publix plaza across the parking lot. If you like discounts, check out the app for periodic specials and coupons. read more

I've been coming to this Great Clips for over a year now because of Ashley. She's always in a positive mood and takes great care of me. I don't trust anyone with my hair anymore since she always delivers the best results 10/10 for quality and speed of service! read more

I come all the way from Winter Park to this particular Great Clips because a) the team here is always very friendly and b) Bernice, in particular, does a great job keeping my pixie cut nice and trim. I prefer to visit on early Saturday mornings to avoid long wait times, and the check-in process with the app also helps. I'm usually in and out within 30 minutes, which is ideal. Because I have short hair, I don't see the point in spending alot of money on haircuts because I do have to go every 5 weeks or so. Great Clips is ideal for saving some pennies while getting quality service. I suspect this location will be a "go to" of mine for some time. Muchas gracias! read more

I love Ashley, she's always so happy to see her clients and does phenomenal work! Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and laid back. Manager Kevin does a great job, please keep it up! :) read more

I had Natania and having been a regular at another Great Clips location, I was worried about the haircut since there were no notes about my haircut in the system. But she listened when I asked for a shorter cut and added my haircut into the notes. She did a great job on my haircut and I was pleased with the quality service. read more

Entering the New Year I made the brilliant decision that I, along with the rest of America needed a change. So within consulting with Pinterest I decided to impulsively get ... bangs. I was ready to say "bang-voyage" to all of the toxicity of 2019 and to get drafted into world war 3 with a silky, luscious, blunt strap of hair to cover my un-plucked eyebrows. I was doomed from the start. I walked into great clips and everything seemed fine. I put in my name and waited to be called. A customer had just left and was solemnly on her way, when a millennial with greasy short slicked back hair whose breathe smelled of roast beef and asshole called me to her station. She asked me to sit down at the chair the previous woman was just in without even cleaning up the locks that were there before. I should've just left then. But hey, I am no quitter, I am also nice so I wasn't about to say anything; I sat down and showed her what must be done. Soon after that she started snipping and cutting, I looked fine, actually great... actually there was a point where I even looked hot, like a sad Uma Thurman. Yet she didn't just stop there, she kept going. She KEPT GOING. It was soon that I had a bowl cut on the front part of my head. My side burns GONE, my confidence DEMOLISHED. The worst part is, she justified it. "This will be good when you put your hair back," She panted with her musky pepperoni breathe, "OOOOOooh My GHOd, I love iht." She lied, she didn't love it, and I hated it. But what could either of us say? The damage was done. I was back to looking like the hefty 12 year old boy who got bullied because his mom was a stripper I was before puberty. She looked at me, with my locks now blending in with the poor souls before me on the floor and had the audacity to say "Do you love it?" "ahaha, where is your restroom?" I replied. Shit was about to go down... Literally. I locked the door to my depression cell and didn't even aim for deuce catcher. I had been saving this feisty mud pie for something exquisite, this was it. I started with some wall-breaking toots, which I am sure our infamous greasy millennial heard but undoubtedly smelled no worse than her breathe. And then, the dirt avalanche had come. I had done it, I had projectile SHAT and all over the creamy walls. Victory was mine, I had won. I zipped up my mom jeans and walked out with pride and a smile on my face, somehow unsuspicious. I paid her $6 along with a $2 tip she would need to use to remodel the bathroom. My hair will grow but stink stops for no one. read more

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a great, cost-effective barbershop; this is it! Just finished with Kevin, and he did a great job with my fade! Highly recommend this spot; I will be back next month! read more

i had my hair done, i wanted layers and she gave me a terrible straight cut and didn't even cut the other side of the front of my face. Go to a salon, all of these places aren't places to go to obviously, i've been to a couple of these places and half of the stylist's mess my hair up. read more

Excellent Experience today... Had my hair cut and styled by Ginger Wiliams, Master Stylist, who gave me the best haircut I have had since moving to Florida 20 year ago. She took her time and was most detail oriented...Simply put...Ginger is the best of the best. read more

Another in and out visit. I came to get a trim and it was quick and accurate. Seriously hot and 5pm traffic this was a more ideal plan than sitting in endless traffic. Mgr working with another. Added video of inside. Hopefully Yelp! Adds it. read more

I had a really bad experience at the Altamonte Springs Fl Great Clips. I sat down and was explaining what I wanted done to me hair. The stylist, Sarah, was oddly argumentative about how long my hair is and how hair grows and was unnecessarily rude about what she was certain was correct, though she clearly didn't understand what I was saying. After about 2 Minutes of a back and forth about how hair grows I decided that she should not be the one cutting my hair. I took off my gown and told her she was being too rude and I didn't want her to cut my hair. She said something rude and snarky back to me and I called her a bitch under my breath as I walked out, which I admit was inappropriate but I was pretty shocked and upset at the way she was treating me, but then she replied "same as you mom". I have not ever had someone in a service job be so difficult and rude to work with. I can imagine what would happen if I had done or said something like that in my place of business. I would be fired on the spot. No questions asked. She is a detriment to your brand and honestly think she needs some sort of training or guidance on how to interact with customers while working. read more

5 Stars goes out to Ms. Julia! And her fro is always on point!! She is absolutely the best. I've never had trouble worrying about my LONG HAIR with her. She's been the sweetest each time I've sat down in her chair and I can't tell you how many times I've gone in for hair cuts in my life and felt nervous. Ever since my first visit, Ms. Julia is heaven sent, I'll even ask her to do what she thinks is best and it comes out perfect every time! read more

Came in for a hair trim today, this was the cleanest Great Clips i've been in. Julia was lovely. Very nice and did an excellent job on my fried ends. I'll be back here for my next trim. read more

Kevin did a great job cutting my hair (and quickly) and gave good customer service. I highly recommend coming here.

Let me say that Kevin and Julia are fantastic! Very professional and do a great job read more

What's not to like. Debbie did a fantastic job on my hair and Great Clips only charges $15 for a men's haircut. Can't beat the price!

I lucked out finding this Great Clips and that they could get my son in for a quick cut. The lady that did his hair was nice and did a fairly good job, plus you can't beat the price. This store is clean and new. Great clips isn't for me but they did a good job for my son. read more

After moving here recently, I was disappointed to find that the first couple of Great Clips locations we visited were an awful experience. This was my third try at finding a Great Clips location and I am so glad that we have a regular place to take the kids again. The stylists were courteous and did a good job, and the check-in system worked. Would be five stars if there was a check-in screen visible to the patrons in the waiting area like I've seen in many other Great Clips locations. read more
