Bring 2 valid forms of ID (State license and credit card or passport. Social is not acceptable apparently) 4) You get an assigned locker to store your belongings 5) You will get 'wanded' to make sure you aren't carrying anything metallic 6) You sign-in and sign-out using their binder and biometric fingerprint (they may also take your photo -The location is fairly quiet but due to its proximity to the intersection, I heard one too many honking on all three occasions. -Washrooms can be accessed with a key -The noise reducing headphones are NOT comfortable at all -The efficiency is not as smooth as I had expected. I waited almost 20 minutes to check-in to starting my exam. I arrived 40 minutes early too! Of all the times I've been to any Prometric, there has been some issue. I guess there isn't a best testing environment. I hope I never have to walk into a Prometric again!

I took Step 1 and Step 2 CK here, so have spent a total of 17hrs or so inside. The staff are courteous, friendly, and encouraging. It's well-run and well-staffed, so you won't be waiting long to get in/out of your exam. The security is pretty absurd, down to finger printing, turning your pockets inside out (wear yoga pants!), etc. but them's the rules. It is quiet and not too cold (but bring a hoodie just in case). You have a locker for your snacks etc. and there's a big room to eat it in/do jumping jacks/watch all passerby outside who aren't having their souls slowly destroyed by standardized testing. You can typically start your exam early if you want. They open at 7 and there's not a line. Highly recommend this place if you need a no nonsense testing center. Good luck on whatever brings you here!

This center is extremely clean and the people that run it are very professional and helpful. The facility itself is small, and gives you a feeling of warmth and comfortableness. When I walked in, I was greeted by a kind man. He walked me to a locker where I put all of my belongings inside. Then he walked me to a seat and I signed the test form. Then I was greeted by a lady and she took my form and continued the process. She then walked me to my computer. The room that I was in is set up in cubicles. There is ear plugs right in front of the computer. I had a hard time finding the headphones. They are on top of the cubicle itself, hanging. My experience at this test center exceeded by expectations and I would definitely recommend that people book their next exam with K&M test center ! PS: do not park in the reserved spots.

I took an exam for a class in which I am a distance student. My test had to be printed, taken, and scanned to PDF and uploaded to the university's web portal. All of this was efficiently taken care of by the proctor. I was taking my test very soon after I walked in the door and on my way out very quickly after I was done. Just make sure to bring 2 forms of ID (driver's license and credit card is fine). They offer earplugs and/or over the ear headphones if you need reduced distraction (I did not use but it was nice of them to offer these). I had a pleasant experience and will be back to take tests in the future.

Didn't know what to expect. It's in a bright basement space with an individual computer cubby filled exam room. (The air was OK, considering my other testing center experience.) You'll need to lock all your belongings into the lockers out front. (They provide a key.) Showed them my ID and efficiently registered. Everyone was super professional. There were others in the room, although they could have been taking any number of exams since I saw from my screen many scheduled different tests to be administered here, like GEDs. Appreciated the set of noise-blocking headsets because the non-stop frenetic typing clicks of the person behind me was absolutely distracting, driving me nuts while I tried to concentrate on the exam questions. All in all, it was very efficient. If you need to come by subway, it's close to the 116th St. Lexington Ave. 6th train. Would recommend coming to this AVNA location for an exam.

If there are any Malcolm X tours in Harlem, Masjid Malcolm Shabazz would definitely be included. The earliest iteration of the Masjid was called Temple of Islam #7. When I visited the Masjid years ago to attend a service, I found it to be a great, enlightening experience that was also good for the soul. Although I do not practice Islam and thought of myself as an outsider, I felt at home here. The message delivered was profound, and I would describe the atmosphere as warm and welcoming. If you walk along 116th street, as I have many times, it is indeed a powerful landmark. I miss this place.
