Always a great experience working with Great Art & Frame. This time I had the joy of working with Alexis. For my dad's birthday my sister and I offered to get some of his comic books framed. He's a serious collector so he has some really neat comic books and original art that he's kept for decades. When my dad was in town I took him here so I could get his opinion on what he wanted. He ended up choosing two Captain America comic books and a piece of original art to frame. Alexis talked us through the different frames, matte, lining, glass, etc. She is extremely knowledgeable and it really helped that she had the right amount of reverence for the pieces my dad brought in (I could tell he really appreciated that). I would factor in a couple of months until you get back the art. I believe we went in mid December and it is done today on February 4. It's really a testament to how good they are that they have so much business! Just plan ahead if you're framing something as a gift. The final piece looks amazing. I included a picture. This whole process was seamless and I ended up with a beautiful gift. I've given them my husband's Super Bowl tickets to frame so I'll write an update when that comes back! read more

Both my experiences with this framing shop have been five stars. First I went in to get my 100-year-old college diploma framed. That time I worked with the shop assistant, who was incredibly helpful and patient. She listened to what I wanted (not another boring dark wood diploma frame), and we came up with an awesome red and black color combination which matched my diploma and was also my college colors. Fear the Turtle! My framed diploma looks amazing and I could not be happier. Turn around was short of two weeks, which is what I was told ahead of time it would be. My second experience was bringing in a handmade batik of a unicorn that my best friend in high school made for me. This time I dealt with the Owner, who was incredibly helpful, and made amazing suggestions. She is an artist, so I'm sure that's why her color combo suggestions were so legit. I am very pleased with the frame and mat we picked. Plus I love that the Owner was aware that I was trying to keep in budget, and she kept giving me options to save money. The batik and frame are now under construction, and I can not wait to see the final outcome. I highly recommend this store for all your framing needs! read more

I have found Great Art and Frame to be a splendid resource for framing and for original art. Joose Hadley, the owner, is not only excellent at all types of framing, but an accomplished artist whose own work is available there. Joose is amazingly talented in both areas of her interest. I cannot say enough good things about GA&F and Joose. She will provide excellent framing advice and service and you can enjoy her wonderful paintings. I've bought a number! Check it out. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience. Joose was patient, informative and the price was competitive! Beautiful frames to choose from!

Wonderful folks, fabulous work! Custom framing isn't cheap, but let's be honest, it takes specific skills...an artistic eye, precision, and craftsmanship. I'll only take my items to be framed or repaired here! read more

Delivers what is promised! My dealings with Joose at Great Art & Frame have always turned out professional and on time.

I completed a cross-stitch project for a wedding gift and wanted to have it professionally framed. I much prefer independent businesses (you won't see me set foot in a Hobby Lobby!!) so when I found Great Art & Frame here on Yelp they looked like they'd do a good job for me. And I was right! She spent almost a full hour with me going through different configurations of mats and frames. What an eye for color she has! Definitely enhanced the finished product. The icing on the cake was that once we made a decision she called the manufacturer to be absolutely sure that the frame materials would be available, and I'm glad she did because they had just enough for us so she put it on reserve for me right away. It did not take long for the work to be completed, in fact I received the call that it was ready before the date promised. When I went to pick it up, I was absolutely delighted with the work they had done. I will definitely be back with my next completed cross-stitch! read more

I drive from south Tampa to Great Art & Frame because they have done a great job every time and have done so for many years.
