I went here last year and had a great experience with the work that owner Vinny did - great job and great pricing - super laid back friendly service . A couple weeks ago I ordered a prop used in the Broadway production of Cinderella on EBay and needed it framed and matted to give as a special gift. Took it to Vinny and we picked out a nice frame . The prop from the show I was having framed was signed by the cast - I overlooked that there were a couple signatures on the back . When I went in to pick it up Vinny said he changed it up a bit and enclosed the back in glass so you could see the signatures on the back !!! I asked how much extra I owed ( happy to pay ) and he said no charge. This is not a typical frame shop . Vinny is an artist who really cares about the work he is doing . A week before Mother's day, we brought in two large(36.5" x 25") antique lithographs to be matted and framed for my mom by the following week. The owner, Vinnie, was very helpful in the decision making process of which matting and framing would look best, while still being affordable. We received a phone call earlier than expected(the Thursday before Sunday) that they were ready. They turned out gorgeous! Perfectly cut out matting, with a beautiful golden frame. I had an Antique picture fall off the wall and was so nervous about taking it to someone to do the glass and fix the Antique frame. I had only ever gone to Michaels and I knew I didn't want to do that. Finding The Art and Frame Center was an ultimate blessing. Wonderful experience. We recently had Vinnie frame 3 papyrus paintings we got in Egypt, and were very very happy with the results. Vinnie had many good suggestions for mats and frames, but also listened carefully to our ideas. In the process, he never tried to upsell us, and in fact suggested some cheaper alternatives. The final results were spectacular. I don't get enough things framed to be able to compare pricing, but we thought the pricing was very fair considering the quality and care of the work he did.
