Took my car for an oil change at Grease Monkey. Employees were nice and welcoming. They were very quick. My only issue is when I got home, my husband was glancing at the receipt and it was noted that there was a nail in my rear tire. That would have been nice if they would have mentioned that to me. These people don't seem to have any idea what they're doing. They don't ask any preliminary questions, like oil preference. They get your car in the bay and all 4 employees disappear into a room, and there's no other customers. So when you step out to ask questions, you get a barrage of nasty attitude and threatening speach. Their computer doesn't match the other locations info, so how can they offer efficient service. I found this gem by accident about a year ago. They are amazing. You don't need an appointment. Being a single woman it's nice to have someone you can trust. They changed the oil, check all of the fluids, put air in the tires and even vacuumed out my car. And I'm in and out in 15 minutes. I would recommend them to everyone. We went in for a simple oil change!! Make sure you know what brand of oil they are putting in your car because they will and I say will put the most expensive one in if they know they can get away with it. We asked many questions about what they were going to to do but they "talked around the details". Mechanic talk!! I can't believe they got us for the second time! We were there a second time like suckers. We've been had by them before. They price gauge for sure because we know the oil doesn't cost as much as they charged today. Rude guys too. I walked in and sat and I knew there would be be a problem with them. I just get these senses. I felt it. So yes they charged us over dollars for an oil change. Why? An oil change should be under 30 dollars. Why did that happen? Because they are shysters! Yes assholes! They had me infuriated as I left. I left one expletive... no big deal. In the beginning they walked out to talk about the car while we were inside so we couldn't hear them. Ha, I read lips! They looked at the car, talked about it a bit amongst themselves. Looked like a real conversation!!! Laughed and knew what they would do. Then they knew they had us as they laughed. Hooked us up with the most expensive oil. We have a Hyundai, it's not a Hybrid or an Asian car so we didn't really need the most expensive oil. (A synthetic oil) And My husband asked him four times how much this was going to cost with no answer before it was too late. Watch for this place. I can't believe they got us twice. Not gonna happen again. We were not happy with them at all. We had a review from a year ago that the manager answered. Great answer but this year was an unexpected bad experience that happened. I brought my 2020 diesel Chevy PU in for an oil change on 12/29/22 and told them that I was seeking 10 qts of full synthetic 15W-40. When the work was complete I given an invoice for 5W-40 yet this is not what I ordered, nor does my Duramax engine suggest using it. After driving 100's of mile back home, I checked my oil and found that I was two quarts over filled and if you know anything about engines this damages the engine by having the pistons slapping the oil. I am very disappointed in the products sold and the lowest quality of work performed at the price of $172.46 I will NEVER use this service location again. If anyone desires I have pictures of the dipstick overfilled as well as the oil removed. read more

I was fortunate enough to bump into a couple of staff members at a Publix one time a few months back and asked them if they could service my car and this morning I finally needed an oil change! I am tired of making oil change appointments and sitting there for over an hour or more so I tried Grease Monkey out & I'm glad I did. They are quick & VERY nice!!! This is run by a bunch of idiots. The GM Mike is a total tool and so is the owner. I took my SUV into get a transmission flush and now I can't drive it because it wont get into gear. They refused to help me and said it's not their fault. Don't even go to get an oil change they aren't real mechanics. I have taken my car here twice. One with my automatic transmission problem and the mechanic fixed it right away and it didn't take long. He put it on the lift and removed a piece that was bad and he replaced it and showed me the bad pin. That little bad pin wouldn't let me go in reverse or park. So he fixed it. 2nd time I've been here was for an Oil Change and Fuel Systems Service. A service that cleaned the Fuel System. Anyways this grease monkey oil changing business is a great place for an oil change. I recommend them for not just for the oil services but also for the small mechanic work they do too. I am a seasonal resident of the area and needed an oil change so I turn to yelp for reviews of places near me. Doug treated me courteously and I feel the work was done well. When you go to one of these places you wonder if you get the guy hired and trained yesterday and will the job be done right. Did he overtighten the drainplug or filter? The pricing was competitive, not cheap nor the most expensive. Of course they look up your vehicle and scan for other problems/services to sell you. I have over 50 years personal experience changing the oil in my vehicles and will see when I go to change it again. I went to get my oil changed here today. July 1, 2020. I wanna never ever ever go there again.!! I needed an oil change. I generally go to the Walmart automotive and get my oil changed for under $30. They asked me what type of oil my car uses. I'm a grandma that has driven the minivan from long time. I showed them my last sticker from Walmart that listed the type of oil that I did. To which the man replied Oh do you synthetic oil. How the heck do I know. So I said I guess so. Now that was my bad. Because stupidly I never asked how much this would all cost. I pretty much like my style changes all the same. Well imagine my shock and horror when I got my bill for hundred dollars !!!!!! $100!!!! I have never paid $100 for oil change in my life!,,, I felt violated and wrong. They prey on people. I should've been told how much this was going to cost if I chose that type of oil. I am so angry UPDATE--* This morning I heard from the owner of grease monkey. He graciously offered me a refund. I told him I didn't necessarily wanna refund because they didn't do the work what I wanted was a fair price. We agreed on $50. And he also gave me a free oil change. And I apologize and I told him I have no way of knowing how much that oil change was going to cost because there was no pricing posted. read more

This place should be avoided at any cost. They changed my oil and The next day my car is leaking from the drain plug. Turns out they did not replace drain plug or in that was won out. A 10 cent item that could have killed my engine. While I was there I paid for plugs wires and injector cleaning. I was not told that injector cleaning was useless without also checking the throttle body . A month later my car won't start. I take it to a real mechanic. Terry Wynters. And low and behold the wires were not changed. The plugs were never changed and the throttle body and injectors were filthy. Mental note to myself,,, NEVER AGAIN do business with a garage that has MONKEY in its name. I called the manager after being shown that my plugs and wires were not new except 60,000 miles ago. He refused to refund my money for their non existent work. Admitted I should have been recommended a throttle body cleaning with an injector cleaning since the injectors are fed by the gummed up throttle body. STILL REFUSED A REFUND Under THE UNREASONABLE Excuse that I should have come back to them after they screwed up a second time in the same day. Again this place is incompetent and STUPID. Sad because when Shawn managed this store it was great service for years. They have permanently lost a loyal customer. And gained a whole lot of bad advertising thst will not go away. read more

Located near Walmart, easy to get in and out of. I have become a long term customer, and would recommend these places without hesitation. Had my oil changed along with wiper blades. They showed me my air filter and how clogged it was, asking if I wanted to replace it. And of course I did. Loved that they showed me and didn't just try and pressure me into an additional sale. There was an accident while installing my wiper blades and the wiper arm broke. The worker was very apologetic and ordered a new arm, no charge to me. Very professional and apologetic..hey, crap happens. I just wish it would have happened to Sutherlin Nissan instead of Grease Monkey! Quick service, which is why I didn't go to Sutherlin..where you have to wait 2.5 hours to have an oil change!!!!
