They would have gotten 2 stars until my husband checked the oil a week later. We were a quart low in a vehicle that doesn't burn oil. My initial complaint was that three manager was rude and unfriendly when I first pulled in. Then he told me the high price of service, but said it included topping of fluids and vacuuming. I needed an oil change. I went for lunch and when I came back they said my cabin filter was dirty. Sounds like their MO. I thought they did a shotty job with the vacuum so I was going to go over it when I got home. Then it was obvious that a vacuum had never touched my vehicle. I have a mechanic but he's always really busy so I thought I'd just get the oil changed quickly. Never again at Rocky Mountain Monument. read more

Been here a few times and they are very nice and always just get on with it and get my oil change taken care of pronto! They are honest and don't sell you on services you don't need so that is nice. The waiting room is comfortable and the staff is nice so what more do you need :) read more

Just got a car wash this afternoon. Paid $14 and the guy who's supposed to treat the problem areas with his long handled brush didn't do a very good job. Dirty back window and clumps of earth left on the rocker panels. Besides my girlfriend got her gearbox oil changed earlier at $75 and the next year they said she needed her gear boxes changed. Not what the maintenance schedule recommended. Had I not looked at her service records she most likely would have been scammed. Watch your wallet here. read more

Car wash spinner brush was partially detached, it put a scratch down the length of my Escalade. The owner of Rocky Mountain Oil Change Center, John, was defensive from beginning, refused to fix my car. Filing small claims Monday. Huge disappointment that people these days just wont do the right thing. Shame. I had been through the car wash dozens of times, it does a good job, sometimes required two passes, I always tipped the prescrub guy. I will never do business here again, and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. No ethics. read more

I will NEVER come here again. This place used to be fine. Now, they clearly want to get you out of there. At checkout, the guy talked so fast and didn't give me a chance to ask questions about an up-charge. When I asked him to slow down and explain something, he became defensive. He did answer my question about the up-charge but it wasn't without making me feel like I was bothering him. In his quick rundown, he mentioned that they changed the oil, vacuumed, AND cleaned outer windows. This all in UNDER seven minutes! The car was not vacuumed, for the record. I didn't expect a vacuum but don't tell me it's vacuumed if you didn't vacuum! ...The oil tech who earlier relayed to me what the car needed (more up-charges), also talked so fast I didn't even know what he was suggesting. So I asked him to explain what he meant and to explain the difference between what he was suggesting and just a simple oil change because that was all I wanted, he said okay and turned to leave without even answering the question! My car broke down 30 miles after receiving an oil change from this company. I was suspicious something might have been done wrong and called Rocky Mountain Oil Change thinking I would start with them. The owner and another employee actually drove out immediately to where I was to inspect the truck. They didn't complain or try to do the normal denial of responsibility. When they arrived they inspected my engine and showed me what had happened. It had nothing to do at all with their work but were so very helpful to me anyways. I paid 14 for the wash. You pull up to a machine that takes your debit card and you have options. Yes they manually pre wash it quickly, no inside cleaning at all or vacuuming. The biggest problem I ran into with that I still had soap coming off of the top of my car that streaked down the glass. The dry feature on the car wash doesn't work well either because it left my car pretty spotty. If I had to do it over I would've chose the nine dollar car wash if I was in a bind and my car was really dirty. read more

I am always disappointed every time I visit Rocky Mountain Oil Change, especially if it is for a car wash of any sort. So you may ask why I keep going? Stupidity and convenience. But still I felt the need to complain about the quality of service...it's very poor. This last guy who rinsed my car off as it entered the car wash had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth the whole time...very appealing...not! And the owner doesn't care which is sad, but I have tried once before to speak with him when I had paid for my car to be detailed and it was shameless what a poor job they did. Honestly, I am usually very easy going and easy to please, but I sometimes wonder how they stay in business. read more

I called Rocky Mountain Oil Change Center to ask them if they had Mobil 1 synthetic oil for my new truck. They stated they did. I drove over there, got in line, and again asked them if they had Mobil 1 synthetic oil, they again replied yes. After they drained the oil I was told no we do not have the oil you want. They ended up putting in another oil. I told them I had asked twice about their oil in stock. I ended up paying $102.00 for an oil change. He just said sorry about that. On my way out the door he made a snide comment, "enjoy your oil". I will not be back. read more
