He went into a long explanation about how important it is and how often I should have it done. After checking my vehicle's carFax, he confirmed that I hadn't had it done before. He showed me every service that I had on my vehicle and continued on about how imperative it was to have it done. I'm all about proper and timely maintenance and I understand how it can extend the life of the vehicle. I asked him how much would it be. He said $109 and it will take 10 minutes. When they were done, I was told by another crew member that my total was $233. I was confused and caught off guard. I asked for an explanation of the charges. i explained that I was quoted $109. She asked if I had seen the price on the screen. I told her I had not been shown a price on a screen, i was told it would be $109. She explained that it was $109 per axle. THAT WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME!! I didn't argue with her, I actually think it wasn't fair of him to send her to ask for payment, especially since he KNEW he didn't explain the cost was per axle.
