These guys had a 5 star review from me and I went back with my other Toyota. Everything is changed…read more Let's just say they seem to have a new "formula", and it doesn't work. They'll tell you what you want, and you have to like it.

IF I could choose negative stars I would...here's what happen I took my tundra in for an oil change…read moreand tire rotation here on Wednesday morning, I got my tundra back and drove home. The following morning I left to head to Wyoming and while traveling 80mph down the highway my front wheel came off {not jsut the tire the entire rim and tire} it went sailing down the highway crossed the center median and hit the side of a semi truck and got launch somewhere {we never found it} the cops on the seen and the tow truck drive could NOT believe I was able to get the truck to the side of the road without wrecking, they told me I easily could have been killed, or that my tire could have easily killed someone. I had the truck towed back to Laramie Toyota which was a $1250 tow bill. To have them tell me they are not responsible, that it was user error. It was literally the day after they completed the service. They do not want to take ANY RESPONSIBILITY Even tho they are the ones that rotated my tires. Here's where it gets good, 6 years ago my boyfriend took his truck there to have the same service and the same thing happened to him. Tell me that's not a coincidence, we have taken the truck to multiple other places for oil changes and tire rotations and never had an issue but the two times we have gone here we have lots a tire. LONG STORY SHORT DONT GO HERE, don't buy anything from here don't have any services done here. They don't care about you or your car! Or that they almost killed me and my dogs. Or that they could have killed an innocent bystander driving down the road. The saddest part is I have been the biggest Toyota fan for over 16 years my first vehicle was an old Toyota pick up, I have owned a Tacoma and have a 2016 4Runner that I bought brand new and has 316k on it {always took it to a Toyota dealership for services} I'm a big Toyota girl and it's sad to see this happening. But like I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND LARAMIE TOYOTA FOR ANY SERVICES.

Three days earlier, the transmission had hemorrhaged ATF way up on a forest service road above Ryan Park and we had it towed and "fixed" in Rawlins, WY. The transmission stopped working again after we drove to Deep Creek Campground. I am very wary of franchise chain shops, and boy there are a lot of pissed-off, one-star reviews of this shop. But there we were on Monday morning, six hours from home, with a transmission that had failed twice in three days. They called us first thing Monday morning, got our report and went to work. The first thing the mechanic did was send photos of all the transmission lines (which we thought were the issue), showing no leaks and no signs of any work being done in Rawlins. They asked us to agree to a transmission service ($350 to drop the pan, check everything out, put in a new filter and refill it). Here we go, I thought. We approve the plan and I start calling other shops in Laramie for quotes (and timelines) on a new transmission. Aamco calls us back an hour or so later and says everything is fine. The transmission just over heated and blew off fluid through a purge valve (have you ever heard of that? It's a thing on Ford E40Ds). They figured our idiocy caused the first event and *maybe* the shop in Rawlins under-filled it by half, causing it to overheat again. The techs gave us a lesson on ATF behavior, Ford transmissions, and how to keep them cool and sent us on our way. These folks could have told us ANYTHING and we would have believed them. Instead, they analyzed what they saw, gave us 100% good advice, and had us back on the road before checkout time at our hotel. For $350. Including 14 Quarts of ATF at $12 a quart. So ... take those one-stars with a grain of salt. And thank you, Laramie Aamco for getting us home safe and sound ... and educating us about our van.
