I used these guys about a year ago. I told them I'd write a review and I'm finally keeping my promise! I was working out of town. My wife bumped into the garage door and it was open. I have a lot of tools in the garage and it was forced open so anyone can help themselves. I told them my situation and they came same day to help me late in the day. They were very inexpensive as well! I'm a contractor so I know what they should have charged me! (LOL) I will definitely do business again. We had them come out and replace a coil for the garage door. The technician told me these need to be replaced every 5 years or so. He talked me into paying more to get the "heavy duty" coil so we wouldn't have to deal with it again so soon. It's been 2 years and it snapped again. Don't let them try to upsell you. read more

Brian at Grease Monkey Garage Door saved our Christmas! We arrived back to our house at 6pm on Christmas Eve to find that we were locked out. The power (and backup battery) to the garage door opener were out, and the garage door was the ONLY way to get into the house. Before breaking a window to get in, I made a desperate call to see if anyone might have a better idea... To my surprise, Brian actually picked up the phone at 6:30pm on Christmas Eve! I was looking for a place to write a review, but came across this instead. I hope this message gets to the owner personally. I had an appointment with Eric for Saturday the 19th of November at 1 pm. Sitting around waiting for him and cancelling other engagements, I FINALLY received a call at 4:30 pm telling me that he was not going to be able to make it because his co-worker was out sick. I thought that was a little inconsiderate to wait so long to inform me, but it was ok because he asked if Monday morning the 21st would work. I agreed, and took the day off so he could make our appointment. Monday came and went and he never showed up. RUDE! Not so much as even a phone call to tell me. It has been over a week and he has not responded to me or attemented to reach out to me. I hope that this is not satisfactory with the owners, because it is not the way to treat customers. If the owners DO feel this is acceptable, then this is a company I do not want to ever do business with again. read more

We had the best experience with Grease Monkey. Our security sensors stopped working so our garage door wasn't closing. Knowing this was the case, as they were recently replaced by A1 Garage, we asked A1 to come out and service them. A1 tried to tell us it was an issue with our springs and door and then proceeded to sell us both brand new. Please see my review on A1 Garage Door for more on that. Shady company. Anyways, I had a feeling that wasn't the case and asked Grease Monkey to come take a look. The owner walked my fiancé through several possibilities over the phone before he scheduled us, so we knew what to expect. Our tech Aaron found the issue almost immediately (sensors not installed correctly) and fixed us up. He was fast, honest, and friendly. He even offered a DIY suggestion for some cosmetic repairs we needed done to the door. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. We are absolutely going to be return customers! read more
