The wine bar started filled quickly and by that time I had been to Belgium, South Australia, Germany and the Czech Republic. A great hour spent before dashing off to make bus. The range of beers of course cannot match the wine collection offered. I don't drink wine which may be to my detriment, yet there are certainly more than enough beers to accommodate the most grumpy non wine drinker. Food, tapas snacks are available at a reasonable price considering that beers costing between $9 and $13 manage to invigorate your afternoon. The steak tartare was minuscule, the egg yoke was almost as big as the portion of steak. Had Scotch Fillet steak as a main and it was full of gristle and way too much fat. The sugar top of the brûlée was over flamed and burnt. I mentioned to the server about the size of the tartare and got no response. I complained about the quality of the steak and again she didn't care. I asked her to mention to the chef and no one responded. On leaving the restaurant no one even showed the slightest interest in apologizing for serving me a sub par meal.

But the Manager was under pressure then and was almost barking at us to say the earliest next available seating was 8.30pm. So rude as if it is the only restaurant around. No imagination at all to look after new customers.
