I'm not a fan of pre made sandwiches but took a chance on the bacon, egg and spinach Turkish with relish. Relish was optional which meant it was applied fresh and toasting helps any staleness, if there was any to hide. It tasted great and was a good lunch time portion. The egg wasn't at all rubbery or over cooked on the yolk. My mum enjoyed her Thai green curry with rice and we shared a white choc and raspberry muffin. Had a quick look around before leaving. Lots of gourmet pantry items eg sauces, pickles and rubs. Unfortunately no toilets which meant a walk across the road to the rest stop/park ones. Never clean in my experience but it's that or hold to the next town.

Categorically not true, had it once and it was awesome, second time, on my birthday, looked like a five year old child had made it. The steak I get is always perfectly cooked. Pink but not bloody, juicy and tender... all that you would want. And best of all, you are so full afterwards! Sure the steaks can set you back anything from $30-$40 here but that's their specialty. They cook it right there so you can see everything is fresh and the waitstaff are really really nice. Sure they could use better tables that don't wobble as much, but I think they've got the recipe pretty spot on here. I've been coming here with my friends for years and still do.

I don't usually care for it, but not enough to bother making everyone else change their choice of food :P But man, was I ever pleasantly surprised when the food came in. It was de-licious :) I really pigged out, especially on the Mongolian lamb, the squid, and the spring rolls. Everything was really, really good. Coming from someone who usually avoids Chinese food when possible, that says a lot :P Our order came to about $130 for 5 people, so the price wasn't too bad either. I can't say anything much about the restaurant itself, because we ordered takeout & were only there to pick up our order. But I would totally eat here again. I can't say enough how good the food is!

Beating the kitchen closing hour of 3pm for a late Sunday lunch. Not much to look at from the outside with an inside quirky-ness that's not in your face. Menu isn't over the top either but covers what you'd expect. I went with the Rueben which was fantastic. The chips as side gave me something to munch on as I contemplated how best to tackle the mammoth stack of pulled corned beef and slaw. A firm squash down and centre cut worked well. I was truly satisfied by the end. My partner enjoyed The Pourhouse burger. Washing it down with schooners of Akasha (lager) and two heads (pale ale).
