Then I remembered Ollies had a ton of rugs in the back of their store. When I finally laid my eyes on them, I was shocked how low the prices were. I did find the size I was looking for but then I discovered a wild pattern that I thought would be radical enough for the 12 yr old. Sure enough she loves it. It was a 6ft by 8 ft for $29.99, Wow! Even though it was bigger than I needed, I figured out how to make it work. They do have a rewards program but I'm not enrolled because I don't shop here very often. The cashier says it offers 15% off but I don't know if that's for signing up or every day.

Exceptionally low prices as well! Only problem is that you cannot get the bright red price stickers off...not even with alcohol or nail polish remover. Not a good idea for gift giving. Too bad. The shop is adorable, and smells great, with hand-painted funiture, locally made wood decor, crafts, jewelry, clothing, signs, candles, pillows, dishware and more home decor. Something for most homes I would think. She sells a room spray, that sits on the counter, with different scents which can be used alone or you can mix them by simply spraying. I purchased two of them, Oven Baked Oatmeal Cookies and Starstruck, and have been using them together. They last quite a while and my house smells amazing without being overly strong. Check out the pictures posted to see a few of the items she has in her shop. The space is clean and very well organized with spacious isle ways. You'll find adorable home decor groupings and nice displays throughout plus several outfits on display. The clothing by Caroline's Bouquet and jewelry, Silver Dragonfly, is towards the back of the shop. The woman behind the counter, assuming the owner, was friendly and helpful. Just a wide variety of items. The general character of the shop is rural/comfortable living. The shop is located in the shopping center where the local cinema can be found. It faces SR67, but you have to enter at the light and then drive to your right to get here. Once you drive to the storefront, there is plenty of parking. The shop has a lot of room to grow. There was space at the back, and even in the middle of the shop, there is plenty of space between the aisles. We started at Buffalo Gal, and it wasn't what I expected. The last time I was in this space, it was a home decor/boutique business. Even though I was surprised, I enjoy browsing antique furniture, jewelry, dishware, clothing, and home decor items. Buffalo Gal didn't disappoint with such a variety of good quality antiques. We found a clean and well organized business with prices easy to locate, which is important to me. I found several gorgeous items I would have purchased if I had space for. I did find a beautiful tea set I had trouble leaving without. Due to the price, I could only buy one part of the set. The design reminds me of a Mayan pattern in rich pottery shades of rust, caramel, and chocolate. I hope to return soon and purchase the remainder of the set. Funny, how you can always find space for something you love. The prices were reasonable, the selection was impressive, and the owner was friendly, answered questions, and worked with me. When I entered Treasures, I could not help but be in awe. Where to start? New items, used items,…read morecollectibles, odd and bazaar items, and an entire room dedicated to furniture. You can spend hours going booth to booth and still not see it all. This place is more than an indoor flea market. For me it was a walk down memory lane, seeing some of the same dishes or china that were in my home growing up. For my granddaughter, Treasures is a place where she found some old barbies, including clothes and accessories for a fraction of what they would cost new. For my grandson, it is a place to find cool IT accessories for his iPhone or used old swords/ knives which he is into right now. During several visits, I found two dressers and two side tables that were well made and fit the bill for what I was needing. The furniture room quickly became my favorite room in the store. One of my favorite booths is an extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers. The pair I bought look like bowling pins. I have been to Treasures a handful of times so far and yet each time I go I notice things I failed to see during prior visits plus more items are being brought in regularly. You could visit each week and find new "treasures" that you can't live without!

There is parallel parking on both sides of the street. If Zydeco's is busy there's additional parking to the West plus a parking lot. I love supporting small business owners who take such pride in their business. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman, and her adorable, tini poodle, Ivory, upon entering the store. She casually chatted with us as we shopped, made us feel very welcomed and was never overbearing. The store is very light, open and spacious. The front half has really sweet, affordable, home decor and a variety of jewelry. Women's clothing, shoes and dressing rooms are to the rear. She carries womens clothing from size small to plus sizes without the boutique prices. Take the time to try on clothing, if time permits, because she doesn't give refunds, only a store credit. Something More is well organized, nice groupings of home decor (mirrors, vases, candles, etc.), jewelry and cute clothing arranged by sizes. There's a furniture grouping (sofa, coffee table, etc.) as you enter but I didn't check to see if it was for sale or waiting husbands. I found some great gift items as I browsed the store and purchased a couple nice blouses. I look forward to visiting Something More when in Mooresville again.
