Not only that but, there was a lot of horse play between the employees when they were working on my car. They could have easily damaged something on the inside or scratched the paint on my car with their exposed belt buckles. The exterior still had bird droppings and bug splatter that was very obvious when they told me the car was ready to go. I had to ask them to clean it up. The wheels were still dirty from brake dust. They didn't even bother trying to clean between the spokes.

The staff is always incredibly friendly, facility is clean, and prices are more than fair. Brad's team always calls to discuss cost before proceeding with repairs - there are no surprises! My recent repair: New front brake pads, new front right rotor, a headlight and taillight replacement, and an oil change for $315. Brad is a local success story. His first shop was on SR 25 near Elton road. After building a loyal following (and the neighborhood went downhill), he built a brand new shop at the present location, near Veterans Memorial Highway. Since then, he has begun completing all inspection work for Auto Express - his neighbor and one of the midwest's most successful and ethical used car dealers. Seriously, folks: Brad's Motor Marketplace is easily Lafayette's best auto repair shop.

I brought my car there a little over a month ago with an oil leak. I told him i was pretty sure it…read morewas a warped plastic oil pan but the guy assured me it was the oil level sensor. He assured me that lots of cars have plastic oil pans and it's nothing to worry about. So i pay him $700 to fix it. Turns out it didn't fix my leak, was leaking just as badly. So i brought it back to him, and what do you know? Hes explaining to me on the phone that it's because the plastic oil pan was warped. He did seem to feel sorry and give me a good deal on replacing the oil pan, so i spent another 500. He tried to say that fixing one oil leak can cause another, but the oil was clearly leaking from the oil pan the first time i brought it in. I even have obvious photos of it from before I ever brought it to him the first time. I shouldn't have let him convince me it was the sensor. Could he be right? Maybe. But I think the evidence leans towards he made a mistake. Which is fine, mistakes happen. But he could at least admit it.

They called every day to update me on the progress and get permission for repairs that were found once they started taking everything apart. Not only does my car run better than I can remember, but they charged for the time they actually spent to repair it, not just the standard labor hours that it usually takes. When I came to pick the car up, they showed me all of the parts that they changed, explained why they needed to be changed, and went over every item on the invoice. They also told me about a few items that should be repaired in the future but didn't do it this time because they knew I was on a budget and explained why they weren't "need to do now" items. Excellent service, very nice, and very reasonably priced (quite possibly the best prices in town). I'll definitely be returning for any future issues.
