We came to him during a very stressful and uncertain time, not really knowing what to expect or how everything could affect our future. From the beginning, Kia made us feel like we were in good hands. He was always honest with us, explained what we could expect, and made sure we were prepared for every possibility. When my husband was dealing with his DUI matter, Kia made sure we understood the process, what could potentially happen, and what my husband could do on his end to put himself in the best position moving forward. Having that guidance gave us a lot of peace of mind during a time when we had so many unknowns. I also have to give a HUGE thank you to the girls in his office. They are truly such an asset to his practice. They were always kind, helpful, and willing to answer my many questions and concerns. Whenever Kia was in court, unavailable, or handling other matters, they helped keep communication going and made sure things continued moving along. That made the entire process so much easier and less stressful. As for my own case, I'm beyond grateful that Kia was able to get my petition to seal and destroy my arrest record accepted. Getting that news felt like such a huge weight was finally lifted off my shoulders. This was something that caused me a lot of stress and worry about my future, so finally being able to close this chapter means more to me than I can explain. If you're looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, straightforward, and will make sure you understand what is happening throughout your case, I absolutely recommend Kia and his team. I'm extremely grateful for everything they have done for both my husband and me and for helping us navigate such an overwhelming time in our lives. Thank you Kia and your entire office! With gratitude, Mike & Erika

It turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. Joey Felbab took my case on and immediately had thought of a few different angles that no other attorney has thought of. Impressive! I also appreciate his ability to put actual "work" into the case. I was impressed each time he spoke in the court room, remembering case details, dates, and statutes. He really does put in a lot of effort and trys to examine every possible angle. A big part of being a good attorney is also being likeable. He was able to be seen, be heard, and to communicate his ideas without ever coming off as arrogant. Professionalism and transparent communication across the board. I wholeheartedly recommend Joey and this law firm for anyone who wants to be sure their case has the best outcome. Truly a miracle worker and lifesaver.

At the end…read moreof the day I paid these guys $10 grand on bogus felony charges from a mentally ill kid that lied. My case wasn't resolved they kept telling me that they didn't want to keep bugging the D.A regarding charges that were not filed on my case because they didn't want to bring attention to my name but after terminating this office I received an itemized break down of charges which showed continual contact between the lawyers office and D.A despite him telling me the opposite. Anyways I didn't feel good from jump after having a free eval in office with a guy named Joseph which i explained what happened and the guy makes a smart remark regarding some papers that I showed him where he made mention to me, go on with that! So he was against me from the start. And then I have a second appointment this time with Phil where I came to the office with about $8500 and dropped on the desk and retained his service. And upon looking at my charges he seem disgusted like I really committed the crime. So, I made the mistake in trusting these guys and this office because I was blind sided by all the good things they say on their website. So be careful when choosing attorneys because not all of them have your best interest at hand. Mind you this is the 2nd attorney ive fired because they lie. Simple.

I am a real client that hired this law firm about three years ago. I am not family related or a…read morefriend of this Law firm . I am an actual client. Someone who paid Cash money, no loan,no payment plan. I would not refer anyone to this Law Firm at all!!My case went from bad to worse . I had two misdemeanors that turned into 3 felonies and a strike . I was not familiar with the law that's why I hired this law firm . I now know that this Law Firm very inexperienced, inpatient and not a Law Firm someone should hire with confidence . It was not brought to my attention that DA could refile up to two years. Again I'm not an attorney or a law firm. When I was in court Alex was not able to give me the confidence at all one should have in their attorney. He actually was extremely short ALL the time with me, never returned my calls when I needed just some questions and concerns addressed . He seemed frustrated and short all the time when Id ask to have a call with him . If i missed his phone calls by literally a minute he'd send me to voice mail and say he's off the clock And not call me back.Alex Was always extremely short with me. Sometimes Id wait for several days just to see if I could get a minute of his time. If this law firm would have advised me to take the first deal , and not try to take a misdemeanor to trial i would have done so. Again I hired them as the professionals. My case was sent to several attorneys desk at this law firm and still they did not have the experience or knowledge to give me advice or the best deal. I did my time and I did my crime . I'm not trying to make me sound like I'm a perfect human.I'm clearly not an attorney .I would NOT hire this Law firm or recommend them.. They are very inexperienced and short with their clients. I'd make appointments with Alex to go to his office and he'd change the location hours before from the Riverside office to the Los Angeles office(I was driving three hours from San Diego ).I never argued or got mad I did whatever i needed to do. He would tell how we could talk at court and Alex would be on his phone the entire time with someone else, and rushing away right after court, saying he'd call later which never happened. I'm blessed this nightmare is over but I truly believe I was better off with a Public Defender! I'd speak with Jesse sometimes but same vibes as Alex. One good experience I did have was the secretaries were always polite and professional . I'd always get my text letting me know I had court and what department. For that I would give one star. But as far as my experience with this law firm. Id recommend you stay with a public defender or represent yourself! Or hire a different Law firm who has experience and patience to deal with their clients worries, questions and concerns .
