History
Established in 2011.
Grateful Pine Farm is owned and operated by Dan and Kelly Munro.
Kelly is grateful to be able to fulfill her dream of improving the lives of horses as a conscientious stable owner, trainer, and breeder of Norwegian Fjord horses.
In March of 2015, Grateful Pine Farm expanded by purchasing Lord Hill Stables in Snohomish, WA. There are several trainers, great riding facilities, and many boarding options available at the new larger facility.
Meet the Business Owner: Kelly M.
Kelly is a horse care professional and dressage rider with over 20 years of experience showing multiple disciplines and starting young horses. As a dressage-based trainer of young horses, competing horses, and companion horses, Kelly values the great outdoors as much as the show ring and likes to let horses "be themselves" as much as possible.
Her gentle and intuitive approach aims to develop each equine's balance, strength, and understanding such that any style or level of riding can be easy and enjoyable for both partners.
Kelly is long time veteran of the horse boarding business, a passionate horse health advocate, and certified in equine nutrition, green horsekeeping and equine facility design.
