This chain is not carding minors. My son and dozens of his friends ages 17 and 18 are able to buy nicotine vapes without problem. Word on PBSC campus is "go to Grateful J's they don't card". When the law changed to 21 they continue to sell to 18-20 year olds. Very scummy. You have one job. Follow the law. CARD THESE KIDS. There are 21 and older signs everywhere. So annoyed!! Will not shop here again. Buying holiday gifts. Bought one item, got it home, it was cracked. Went back and was told no refunds or exchanges. Ok. Purchased another item, full price, and got it home and thankfully checked to make sure it was ok and nope, it leaks!!! Almost $60 later... Went BACK AGAIN and was told "we haven't gotten any other complaints" and a shoulder shrug. Kids running a store with no authority to help customers resolve problems. This was three times in one week I had to visit this vendor in two different locations. Zero customer service... asked for the owners number to try to rectify my issues and told "we don't have a number to give you". Been going to Grateful J's for three years now and keep coming back. I've dealt with 5-6 different employees here, all of whom were very attentive and informed me on things i didn't know about what i was purchasing. Great selection of the usual headshop items like pipes, vapes, tobacco and even some t shirts. Incredible selection of glass rigs, although they are truly works of art. The short girl with black hair that's works there should be fired and if you own you should sell your shop. I understand that you think your to cool for school because you work at a head shop. But the reality is you make 11 dollars an hour to sell a product that literally sells itself. When some one seems to be uneducated about a product that has just recently become so popular, you would think helping that person become educated will help you and your business go the distance. Instead here at grateful Js when you walk in you will get a why am I up at 12:00pm look instead of a greeting accompanied by a condescending attitude. So happy shopping. Buyer beware. I purchased a new vape battery from this location. The battery was defective. (clicked 5 times, never turned on) When I went in to resolve my problem. First, the worker told me it was user error. Then he gave me an excuse that the battery was not charged. The solution was a 30% discount on a new product. All I wanted was replacement for my current product that they sold me defective. I am out 30.00 for faulty product/service. read more

Sorry but the employee here need to stop smoking weed or something because i just had the most idiotic experience. Got there to buy a tray found one that was okay but still wasnt sure if i was going to keep it as i was purchasing it as a present. Talking to the cashier told him i was unsure if i was going to keep it and followed up with the question "do you guys do refunds?" Without hesitation he says yes. Ok cool ill get it then. Not even five minutes later i decide i dont want it so i turn around and go back. Same guy of course and he says "i was hoping you wouldnt come back with it" ok weird comment but what ever so i tell him i changed my mind and would like to return it and he tells me he can only put the money on a gift card. I went in to grateful j's for the first time today and I got a disposable salt nic device as I'm on my way home I open it and try to rip it only to find out it doesn't work so I had to drive another 15 mins back to the store just to find out they won't return it. This place is here to scam you I have only bought one device from here it it didn't work . Terrible customer service. Continually told items ordered and to come pick up, only to find out no one had a clue what, where, when, or why. After months of repeatedly making return trips to pick up ordered items only to disappointed, I have finally given up on them.
